Yes
And it wasn’t ideal.

Not ideal but just give me good pitchers.

That’s my thought. Yeah having guys to go to for matchups is ideal, but as long as we have 7/8 quality arms you can make do.

According to Tiger14, if he is only offered 3.4 then he’s coming to campus. Thats all I was saying was that his info, which is usually correct, is wrong.
Don’t ever put words in my mouth. I said when I talked to him (weeks / months ago at this point) his number was 3.5. Don’t twist and flip words. We all know he isn’t coming to campus…
Edit - he also told multiple recruits in the 2024 class the same thing. This is all a mute point though, as he will get over whatever he wants

Moscona also said McCormack is expected to be on campus twice today.
McCormack would be a huge get if he shows up. I know Coach Bianco isn’t penciling him in though. Can’t count on any freshman to contribute whatsoever unless it’s Bregman or Crews.

I feel like we were fairly RHP heavy in 23’ no
IIRC Jay's first year in 2022 we didn't even have a LHP on staff.

We should bring Alex Brady back to LSU. At least his dad was funny even if his son stunk

Ack and Herring were the main left handed contributors but other than them it was really only Coleman sparsely later in season right?
Pretty sure Cooper led the team in appearances in 2023 with over 61 innings pitched. Not knocking Ack or Griff but you are overlooking Coop who was main man southpaw out of the pen and had a handful of starts as well.

Had 4 in 2022: Cooper, Hasty, Coleman, and Shaffer
Cooper was the only one in the top 11 most used pitchers though.

This is incorrect
My bad. I am. Don't know why I thought that was the case.

You’re right, can’t believe I forgot the trucker. So 3 LHP’s the natty year, all of them mainly from pen but did spot start. I think as long as we have one lefty to go to out of the pen it’s not the worst.

This is what I remembered and I guess I more meant Coop was the only useable lefty. I did completely forget about him with my initial statement.
