Schrier’s First two years at UCLA were solid
Last year looks like he had some poor hitting luck on balls in play

Jace out of the portal as well
After the Grahovac announcement I was wondering what was taking him so long. Probably had to match his NIL offers from other schools.

Kendall posted earlier "Word around A&M for a few days has been that all the big pieces will definitely be back + a couple of more additions.
I would assume Kent is considered a "big name." Not sure about Kaufer and Antolick who we have been tied to.

It would be a massive failure for them if that’s not the case since this was pretty much their coach O hire

It’s funny A&M thinks this is the best case scenario for them.
They could have bought Vitello and had their best return plus Tennessee’s best follow him. I guess they didn’t have enough money.

Was he ever seriously in play?
And how on earth can UTK offer more money than TAMU

No they couldn't have. Vitello was never leaving Tennessee.
He turned down Texas the week before the regionals. When rumors started to come out after that about him going to Texas, it was very likely leaked by Schloss and his camp to get the spotlight off of them or to negatively affect Vitello.

I doubt Vitello was open to the highest bidder. It would have taken significantly more money to get him out of Knoxville. I figured A&M had whatever that is. They always say they do.

And why would he leave? He's already secured a future statue by winning the natty and the administration seem open to giving him whatever he wants. UTK may not be a blueblood on its own, but they're looking like one for as long as he's there.

If A&M offered 100M for 10 years, Vitello would have coached the Ags in the milkman suit and Tennessee wouldn’t have stopped him.
Everyone has a price, even if it means moving to College Station for a little while. Schloss is a good example of that.

TV wasn’t leaving Tennessee for Texas A&M. Ever. That’s a step backwards for him and once again like I’ve said in several posts… money isn’t everything to some people

I didn’t make up 10 years, 100M. That was TexAgs.

No connection that I can find yet, but interesting name to keep an eye on.

State 247 seems to think Ace Reese from Houston will commit to them soon. I don't know how much he was in play for us with our OF pretty full.

That is classic Steve Robertson being Steve Robertson making it seem like State got a "big win" over us. No way we were still recruiting him, we have no real need for another outfielder right now much less a corner OF who hit .278 with meh power at Houston.

Hayden Schott might be one of the most annoying Twitter users of all time.

I had enough of him in his weird interview during the game against us. Would still have taken the bat, but I’ll never forget the interview.
