Not sure about him. has a career .270 BA against, 1.71 career whip, 6.09 career era, and 71K/53BB in his career with 85.2 IP.
Upside may be there but I don't know about burning a spot for him unless he agrees to come without being guaranteed a roster spot come spring time.

I was really hoping Condon would hit portal at UGA but that was before Wes was hired
I would take Condon over Laviolette although Condon will be draft eligible after 24 season since he redshirted
They definitely need a big bat to protect White and hopefully Jared Jones will make a big jump

While I’m glad Kendall is one of the main college baseball writers, he isn’t the most likable. After that shitshow streaming they did for 10-40 bucks, barely worked, he didn’t seem to financially give a shite about the customer. Lost a lot of respect that weekend.

Burns is interesting. Not saying we do or don't have a shot, but I'm not paying as much attention to Burns as I am to Holman and Montgomery and whoever else may surface from Team USA. Jay was just in North Carolina, so you have to think he laid some seeds (if not hatched some eggs). Aside from Holman and Montgomery, that US team has some guys that could benefit from coming to LSU from an exposure standpoint. Burns is a dude but the pieces and part are important, too.

Holman and Montgomery would be nice additions to this team. Just need Montgomery to actually get in the portal. We are still running with a rumor saying he wanted to play closer to home. I'm not convinced he will leave Stanford.
