Project, who do you think Jay goes after for pitching coach? Yeskie?
Posted on 6/27/23 at 2:34 pm to UpToPar
I think Jay already has his guy.

It was a Blinn article on their website so completely their side. I agree that it doesn’t really make sense at this point.
Yeah I dont know why Reaves would delay coming here with that middle infield being wide open and he just had a red-hot season hitting over .400 with 20 HR. Unless he's seeing where he might land in draft this year, then stay there and maybe never make it here as well going in draft 1 more year?

Not a lot of people have confidence in him to be a good head coach.

It's what I've heard from people in the business.

Is it a recruiting side issue they believe or overall coaching side issue.

Just that he's one of those guys that's more suited to be an assistant, that he doesn't necessarily have the HC personality.

Georgia hired Wes as the HC not slash PC. Wes is going to hire a PC and does he let him do his job or does he meddle?

Jordan is officially on Burns.
Also don't think he was a big target but Alex Calarco from Northwestern has committed to Maryland.

lmao Sarloos is not messing around.
Tolle
Burns (possibly)
Ben Hampton
to pair with Klecker. They could end up with the best rotation in the country next season.

I mean, outside of one random post today we've never really been mentioned for him.
It's hard to get upset about a guy that we didn't seem to be that in on.
And at least it's not Arkansas.

Who are we really in on?
Posted on 6/27/23 at 4:03 pm to TigerMonkey7
It's really really difficult to tell with this staff. Jordan has followed probably 50 guys on twitter and it's pretty difficult to tell the interest level (from a mutual perspective) until they start to get to commitment level like Justin Loer.

Maybe he saw how we shut down Skenes’ bat and didn’t want that to happen. Regardless I’ll trust Jay and company to get the guys we need. Probably a lot of rerecruiting going on with guys like Grant Taylor and Ack too.
