Johnson made a comment on Milazzo and Travinski saying that he likes both of them at the position and has tons of confidence in both of them. So I wouldn't be so sure about Travinski not making the roster.

LSU is going to have to replace 50% of their HR production from last year.

I don't think that will be hard to do for them. Pearson getting a full season, Tommy White, healthy Dugas, Morgan maybe tapping into a little more power, etc. Should be able to hit more HR as a team in 2023 than they did in 2022.

Every other word was imagine or if. Let’s be realistic.

Travinski had 5 homers in like 15 abs last year at one point.

Yea, in non-conference play.

Young also led the NCAA in strikeouts to go with those 16 homers.

15 Berry
15 Doughty

He has talent. JJ probably feels like he can help polish him a bit. He definitely shows he has some power but he also is wild with tons of strikeouts. If he can clean his approach up better he could be a dangerous bat.

Young apparently completely changed his swing from year 1 to year 2 so he can hit for more power. That’s why his Hr sky rocketed and BA plummeted. It would take another drastic change to find a happy medium.

Shouldn’t be an issue if everything goes like TigerPride18’s post

Going off topic from the subject of the day. In regards to Dylan Tebrake. The Mets have started to roll in with a few signings in the last 24-48 hours Current signees (above/below slot value) Jett Williams (324k below slot) Blade Tidwell (370k above slot) Nick Morabito (123k above slot) Jonah tonge (slot value) So that leaves them 179k above slot with those. Stuart (Southern Miss) and Vermillion (Arkansas) both seniors were the 6th and 10th rounder and will be where the Mets go below slot and make up $400k in slot on those two. Leaving $221k to go over slot between the rest and those are: Parada Sproat Reimer (who I believe signed today) Tebrake Estep They have to pay Parada and will go Over slot. Tebrake will get slot at best from what I’m looking at here. Still not a bad payday but had he got Gordon, he could’ve got it done!

Reimer did sign yesterday for $267k over slot.

Tebrake and Gervase not going to be getting over slot after that one.

I didn't even read that post.

Every team replaces good hitters every year. It's not like LSU has a roster turnover aka 2015-2016. You're argument also assumes Jobert leaves, Dugas doesn't return, and Tommy White is not at LSU.

Again...meh.
