I'm all for agreeing for the peak season of any job and when you should be using that vacation. it is certainly something that is earned though. When you take that earned vacation is the topic. I'm lucky, I have unlimited PTO but I don't choose to take it in the middle of real estate busy season.

Back on baseball, thought not really recruiting. Texas made a run at Frank Anderson to be pitching coach. He turned them down.

With all due respect, by what standard is it earned? If I work by butt off, and I'm not writing to twitter about how hard it is, why don't I earn it? Why is it that that in the jobs I've worked, there's a handful of us who do most of the work, and none of us ever got a vacation?
Vacation time is a privilege that some jobs offer. This lady is taking the busiest time off, so how has she earned a vacation? She has a job that offers it. And yes, the timing is very odd.

Texas did get Garret Guillemette, the catcher from USC. Hopefully Skenes heads here. Also have Collin Price and Holbrook

You didn’t read what I said. I can’t help you if you don’t think the average person earns time off by working hard or deserves time away. The timing of it is what we are questioning. I’m sorry you never got a vacation. Back to baseball please.

This isn’t peak season though. She didn’t know the whole staff was going to leave. The transfer portal closes Friday and the news break cycle is totally random
Never understood the crap the baseball heat writers get. You don’t need them with all the information available

not sure if its been posted yet but Drost announced he is going to Tech. Good for them.
also if you have espn +, they have been having the hs baseball national championships at alex box on there if you wanted to watch. JC Vaneck and Owen Galt are on team louisiana and i think 1 or 2 other LSU commits.

Look, man, I didn't intend for this to be an argument between any of us. But I absolutely read what you said. And what you said didn't answer my question. All you have done is tell me that you get vacation. And that's great for you. I don't begrudge anyone for having vacation time. All I'm saying is not everyone gets it, no matter how hard they work. It's something their job either offers or it doesn't. That doesn't mean you can suck at your job and get vacation, because you'd get fired if you sucked.
So in response to the person who was talking about "respecting someone's earned vacation time", I just wanted to know what made her more entitled to her vacation than anyone else? As you and I have agreed on, she picked a bad time for vacation.
That's all I'm going to say on the matter. Carry on.

Texas didn't want him to have to sit out the first couple games of next season?

You aren't forced to work somewhere with shitty benefits.

Anderson looks like a complete d bag.

Jaden Agassi is transferring from USC. I doubt we're recruiting him and I don't really know much about him other than that he's Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi's kid so he's probably athletic as all get out.

I work where I can get work. I don't think you are familiar with my family situation.
But perhaps you could enlighten me further on myself.

Other than Tommy White, will we have any of these transfers for more than a year? Even the potentials ie Hurd, Skenes

Probably a good two levels below the pitchers we are going after
3-2 with a 4.34 ERA. 38 strikeouts in 64.1 innings, 1.55 WHIP
