Looks like Bollman/Wabash played in Hoover this weekend. It’s not noted in the image but their stats page has him charged with 3H and 1ER.

Yeah, their NJCAA stats page even differs from their Game Changer stats. One shows the run as earned, the other does not.

Since my previous post is the last one on the previous page, it may not get seen so I will ask here again:

It was mentioned in a thread on the MSB that LSU has two commits from LSUE currently. I've looked and looked and cannot find any info on it. If anyone has anything, please post it here so that I can update the commit list and keep an accurate roster count.

I work with a family member of Wyatt Wiatrek. Said he was working with Jared Kelley, the 2nd round pick from Refugio last year and is hitting lower 90s now.

Didn't realize Sinton HS also had a '23 C commit. Will plan on watching if they play in CenTex area.

Delgado and LSU commit Brayden Jobert open their season at 4pm today. You may be able to stream the game here: LINK

ETA: I got the stream to work enough to see Jobert's first at bat, an RBI triple.

Jobert finished the game 3-3 with a triple, 3 RBI, 1 BB

There is absolutely no way Zach Arnold is not your shortstop moving forward. Just find your third baseman and get the bats rolling.

Simon hurt warming up in bullpen first game of season
Not sure how bad
May hurt his draft stock
Was probably going to end up at LSU anyway but this may keep him all LSU if his season is done

Out for a year. Broken bone. Where the tendons are stronger than the bone and the bone is the weaker part. MRI tomorrow.

It’s recoverable. Very few have his work ethic. I feel good about a full recovery.

This would be a rare injury for an 18 year old. Most of the time you see the tendon pull away from the bone when the growth plates are not fully formed at 10-14 years of age.

PM needs to give Travinski and Wyeth a chance this weekend behind the plate and in the starting lineup. Milazzo’s defense has not been good enough to keep him in the lineup and his offense is just hurtful to watch. Also, what the hell is going on with Beck?

Need to update this information. He is at IMG Academy and is a bonafide stud.

I’ve watched him at Globe Life Field the past 2 days. Dude is a Dude on a team jammed packed full of dudes.

Anyone interested in watching can see them play at Online streaming of Texas Rangers Showcase

DIAMOND NOTES - WEEK 1
Mon March 1, 2021
Alex Armand
Louisiana Scouting Director
PLAYER OF THE WEEK

2023 LHP/OF Kade Anderson (St. Paul's HS)

Pitching: (2-0) 10 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 24 K, 1 BB

Hitting: 7-13 (.538 AVG), 4 BB, 5 SB

-There were a lot of good players who were submitted for the Week 1 POTW award, however, 2023 LHP/OF Kade Anderson (St. Paul's HS) put on a show on opening night, in our game of the week that featured St. Paul's vs. Catholic BR, with the Wolves winning 5-4. The LSU commit struck out 10 batters in 4 IP and also collected two big hits at the plate. Anderson then followed up that performance with a one hit shutout against McGill Toolen (Mobile, AL) where he struck out 14 over 6 innings.

I read an article dated june 2020 that had Luke Leto #8 overall, then an article in December where he is not in top 100. Is he falling that much?

I haven’t kept up with a lot of scouting reports but it looks like he will be too big to stick at short, and as a high schooler that means his bat and power pretty much have to be a can’t miss to be rated that high.

He looks too stiff to play short.

I watched some video of him fielding grounders at short and even I could see it, and I don’t know what the hell im looking at.

Did you see the one where he spiked the first throw in the ground about 10 feet in front of the bag?

If he makes it to campus, Leto definitely won’t play SS in college. Although that won’t prevent PM from giving him a shot at 3b... lol. Side note, Connor Simon will be back at full strength in 6months.
