I guess it's possible, there is a JUCO guy out there that a lot of teams are in on, LSU being one of them. He could be a late add OF. I just don't see it happening. That would put us at 6 OF, plus a guy like Dugas who can play out there.

Who is he? We are losing 2 after this year and have 3-4 already committed for next year. I don’t see much of a need there for a JUCO

Brandon Parker from MGCCC. Was injured his junior and senior year in HS. Hit like 18 HRs this past season. Was only a freshman. Would be eligible to transfer to a 4 year school this year because he was a qualifier out of high school.
MSU, Ole Miss, USM, UAB are among the teams I know for sure were looking at him. I have a good idea that LSU was also evaluating him.
Like I said, I don't think we add an OF. If we do add him, he would essentially be replacing Nick Webre's spot.

Dugas is hitting .383 for Danville right now.
23-for-60, 3 doubles, 2 triples, a home run, 13 RBI's and 16-19 in stolen bases.
He's committed two errors in 17 games, mostly at second base but some at short and some at third.
Bianco is hitting .250 (10-for-40), with 4 doubles, a triple and a home run and 7 RBI. He's caught some and he's mostly played third.

He's only played 3rd. His brother Ben has caught for Danville.

I didn't realize his brother was also on the team.

I'm still (kind of always) doing housekeeping stuff on my eligibility tracking spreadsheet. For my pre-2020 page (so the season after next), we are at 52/35 (but even Turang is still on there, so it will change in just a couple weeks).
Of the 52 names on the list, 30 of them are eligible for the 2019 draft.
ETA: fixed an error.

I wanted to go see them when they were in Hannibal, but I may have missed my chance. Next year I'll have a couple of options with Cape Girardeau joining the league.
If you can catch them playing on the road do
It. Danville is a shite hole.

He’s a Louisville signee if I remember right.

He was a freshman there this past year. Played sparingly.

Aaron George tweeted this out yesterday. I think he's going to be one of our set up guys this season.

Project is LHP McMurray the only recruit coming in as hurt and is RHP Costello on the team?
Posted on 6/22/18 at 12:59 pm to LesnarF5
Costello hurt his throwing hand sliding into a base late in his HS season, so he didn't throw much to end the year, but I imagine there won't be any lingering issues by the fall. I haven't seen anything to indicate that he's not coming to campus.
McMurray, having not pitched for some time, will probably be available by the fall as well.

I find it interesting PM doesn’t have more LHP committed. I think I saw like 3 or so from this class through like ‘21.
I think he needs to find another lefty for next year.

It would be nice to have a Seth Beer type on the team
Posted on 6/25/18 at 7:38 pm to TigersSEC2010
He has about a 50% K rate so far in the summer league, so we will see if he can make enough contact to stay in the lineup next year
Posted on 6/25/18 at 7:42 pm to bugafor6
I'm in the minority here but I'm fine with strikeouts IF he can maintain good numbers. Give me a good OPS and I don't give a damn how often you strikeout
