Thing is, if you have a 50% K rate you probably aren’t making enough contact to hit for power

True. I don't think his K rate will stay quite that high though. That's a pretty absurdly bad K rate

Brandon Parker. We won't be adding him so it doesn't really matter

That list is both exciting and terrifying a lot can change in a year tho.

7 in the Top 60, wow, it's like a Vandy recruiting class

I didn't realize Phillips would be up that high, only because I hadn't heard much on him.

Alex Milazzo is going to move up a lot in the rankings the next time they do them. He did really well at the Tournament of Stars. Top flight defensive catcher.

I don't think we're going to see Espino or HInds get to campus. Espino just keeps throwing in the upper 90s. Hinds has been on the radar for scouts for a while now.

But Hampton, as long as we keep recruiting him for both sports, should make it to campus. I have a good feeling on Doughty. Don't have much info on Travinski, but he's got massive power.

A lot can happen in a year with stock and a guy like doughty would probably be ranked around 50 or 60 if the list included college guys so we might be good. One thing for sure, Cain is proving his worth on the trail. I’d absolutely take him over a hitting coach if he continues this

It looks like a Turtle Thomas Recruiting Class, I hope without the same results.

C Travinski, SS Hinds, and SS/3B Doughty alone would be sick. Don't think we'll get the P Espino but Cain doing it on the recruiting trail. Is Doughty's brother still on the team?

I know right, the one on the team now is a catcher. Just didn't know if he was still on the team. The one coming in next year is a beast.

Pretty easy to see Dugas and Beloso being 2 freshman fielder making a big impact next year. Beloso is putting up insane stats himself, 5% k rate and .981 OPS. That’s ridiculous

I notice Dugas doesn’t walk much, so chasing pitches could be a reason why he’s striking out a little more than you want to see. A little more plate discipline might help his power #’s too

I'm real excited to see Dugas play. I honestly don't know a whole lot about Beloso. I know he's a good power threat at 1st base but that's about it

Does anyone know if Beloso throws left? It's been awhile since we had a true left handed 1st baseman. That is if he winds up playing 1st base.

Also, I think Dugas has 'over' 15 stolen bases now.
