Dropped down to #6 today. USC leaped LSU and others to #5 with their 11th recruit, LB Michael Hutchings. Dang 4* star brought the average down to 4.27.

Boutte dominated in a recent rivals. He should receive 5star status. That will put us in the top 3.

Which if any of our current commitments could be raised to 5 star from 4 star? I had read that some were doing really good at some camps I might get raised based on camp performances.

Doubt he goes to 5 stars. He might go from 5.8 to 5.9 or 6.0 though

Boutte is currently a 5.8 outside the top 250. He will be moved inside the top 250 and will certainly be a 5.9 at worst. He's got a shot to enter the rivals 100, but not sure about a 6.0 ranking though. Also, white should move up to a 5.9 also and maybe top 100. That will give us a few points and hopefully Brazil tears up The Opening in Oregon later on and gets a bump also.
I wish Baker would show up at camp that rivals covers so he could get his due. 247 moved him up to a four star after seeing him in camp. I think rivals would too if they were able to scout him.

boutte will move up but 5 stars is just not happening. diarse boutte and white will move up though and will help us in the ranking. The only committed recruit with a chance at 5 star status may be that QB out of cali. If he keeps performing well at every stop.

Huh????? They are around 8th in 24/7 and the only reason they are like 3rd in Rivals is because they have 21 commits. IF you want to use ratings services, they are 12th in Rivals in average rating per player for example. And LSU has a much better average than A&M in both Rivals and 24/7. Scouts, which I consider the worst, even has A&M no higher than 9th in average rating. Watch A&M fall since their recruiting is much nearer the end than most of the majors due to already committed.
