The fact that Ole Miss isn’t on this list tells you everything you need to know.

I agree. Ole Miss is definitely in the running. The only thing that I can prohibiting that is Kiffin. It wouldn't surprise me if Kiffin's identity doesn't jive well with the Mannings.

It happened with Brandon Harris.

Also, I'm chuckling at the Notre Dame and Ohio State discussions. The furthest north he'll go is Virginia.

One of these things is not like the others. SMU?

Probably just wants to check out the talent on campus, of which, there is an abundance.

Not saying he won’t but no recruit has ever committed anywhere he didn’t take an OV to.

We literally just signed a class where no one officially visited. It happens all the time.
I don't think this concerning. Isnt ideal but not a huge deal. He's visited quite a few times before and will likely be at the 7 on 7 event on campus in June.
Every minute detail of this kids recruitment is gonna be analyzed, slanted and pandered by whomever is doing the reporting. Have to let things play out or people in team boards are gonna drive themselves crazy. Sad part is that most LSU fans that bitch and moan about every step in this kids recruitment, only do so because of his name and where he's from. For quite a few this recruitment for LSU is more about perception than actual football ability. The program will not cease to exist I'd this kid goes elsewhere.

He's a legit LSU fan and has been for years. Went to National Championship game, always wearing LSU gear, etc.

In my heart of hearts though, I think he's either going to Texas to play for Sark or Ole Miss if Kiffin can win over the family and give them confidence he isn't going to leave in the middle of the night.

I have no problem with LSU trying to recruit him as long as we don't miss out on another great QB wasting our time on Arch if he's not serious.

Hope you are right that he is interested.

Well that's just completely wrong

not counting COVID situations. I can't recall any kid coming to LSU without actually visiting officially. I can give you a list of more names that have not come here that were considered "locks" by many but never visited officially.

Jabril Cox never visited. I guess that was after covid started though in April 2020.

I feel like there were some outlier kids that we picked up late in the process the last several years that never visited.

Visiting Bama definitely stings. Hated Rival of LSU, Tenn, and Ole Piss. But everyone should have known it was a waste of time.

No, he’s been to LSU and ole miss. He’s trying to branch out. Don’t close the door on him yet.

The Mannings have all lived, worked and played football in Louisiana yet ignores LSU. I say ignore them unless Arch shows a legitimate strong interest in LSU.

You serious, Clark? The kid has said multiple times he likes LSU, O has been to Newman personally, he talks to Peetz often and wears Tiger gear pretty regularly. Good thing you're not on the recruiting staff.

Clemson never offered Quinn Ewers, because they wanted to focus on Simpson. Maybe Clemson decides to focus on Manning?

It is just a “June” list. They aren’t even “official” visits.

He will attend LSU games over the next 2 years.
