As long as he doesn't go to Bama.

'd honestly like LSU to not waste a minute towards recruiting the manning family.

Yea dude, screw the nicest family to ever call Louisiana home. They suck right!

They should move and take the Manning passing camp with them.

We're not getting Arch so there is no point in wasting your time.

Why he wont sign with LSU:
1. You have 2 stud QB’s ahead of him meaning Arch will sit for 2 years. Star QB’s tend not to do that. The idea for a premium QB is to start three years and then go into the NFL to make millions. Arch will be getting a huge signing bonus and contract with his new NFL team as compared to playing his 2nd year at LSU.

Yes Arch is an LSU fan and wears LSU gear. That’s great. But Cooper is smart not to draw negative attention to his family at this point. If Arch would pass on LSU right now, there would be a backlash against the Manning’s.

Arch will not go to any place based on completion, if he wants to play at school that will compete for a National title. Will he seriously consider LSU. Yes. My guess is LSU has a 25% chance.

I do honestly think he is looking at schools with an open mind but it will come down to instant playing time. Do your three years then it’s off to a multimillion signing bonus along with a contract that is more than a King’s ransom. Toss is a few more million for endorsements.

I think he will wait it out to see which school has the best starting op for him. That could be a lot of places. But sitting out one year wouldn't be a deal breaker IMO.

There's a long way to go, but I really believe that he's Texas' to lose.

The Courting of Arch Manning: “I’m wide-wide open”. Jeff Duncan The Athletic ($$)

quote:

On Alabama: “I’ve talked to Coach Saban twice. One was a Zoom, and one was on draft night. And those were cool. I usually keep my cool on these, but I was nervous for him.”

On Clemson: “Dabo was good. He’s just a personal guy, fun-loving, everyone loves him. He’s a great guy. And I got to talk to him the other night, and I loved him.”

On Virginia: “I’d definitely consider somewhere like Virginia or SMU. Obviously, it’s not as big, but great people, still great coaches, and something a little bit more my speed, I’d say, kind of in terms of off-the-field stuff.”

On North Carolina: “I’m definitely considering them, too. Coach Brown is a stud.”

On Texas: “I like Sark and (quarterbacks coach) A.J. Milwee a lot. They have great coaches and I can’t wait to see what they do this year.”

On LSU: “I love Coach O, and I’m a big fan of the new coordinator, Coach Peetz. They’re all great guys. They have a good staff. I think they’re going to be pretty good this year. And LSU is just an hour away. So, that might be kind of nice.”

On what influence his committed teammates, Johnson and Bordelon, will have on his decision: “I’m really close with AJ and Bo. They’re good guys. I’ll have a year to see what they can do, and I can ask them a bunch of questions about it. It’d be cool to play with them, but I don’t think I want to necessarily chase friends.”

On if the commitment of Walker Howard, son of former LSU quarterback Jamie Howard, to the Tigers has any bearing on him: “I’m not worried about competition, necessarily. Because there’s going to be good players and good quarterbacks everywhere.”

The world will literally stop rotating on its axis if
A Manning played at LSU. It won’t happen. I have a better chance of being attacked by a great white shark on land.
