Wiltfong and Perroni each put in crystal ball for Darvon Hubbard to end up at A&M

Probably not from what I read this morning he is mentioning LSU again

Good. Honestly don't think he is anything special
Bradford is the one

So they're taking 3 running backs, or are they going to tell the juco guy that just committed to look elsewhere? Interesting either way.

Reading between the lines, the reality of Evans' grade / test issues is what you are seeing.
Everyone seems to have recognized this except Evans himself.
I'd take Evans in a heartbeat if he had the grades. I'd be willing to take the risk on all of the behavioral stuff. But, unfortunately, you can't solve the academic issues.

I like Bradford better tbh

This. Hubbard does not show much burst. He looks versatile, but I'm not sure he has the quickness to be very good at this level.

My preference would be Bradford even over Evans. With the quality of the backs that we already have on the team (skill sets and character) I do not want to risk losing a scholarship on Evans if he does not have/get the grades and I do not want his drama in the RB room or locker room in general.

You could tell that Hubbard really wanted to come to LSU

They have 1 scholarship back on campus, they need all the help they can get. Their fans arnt real happy about it either LOL

Aggies need running backs, and Bradford is light years better than Hubbard.

Their highest rated back is Achane — lots of schools recruited him as a slot receiver.
Evans may come crawling back after all. Hopefully Curry or an upperclassman can be a mentor to him

I don't think any staff is confident in landing Evans...or give a shite at this point when he's probably going to JUCO.
Hubbard actually fits LSU's scheme better than Bradford. Maybe Bradford has good receiving ability but apparently he hasn't shown much there. I'd risk it considering his speed. Teach him how to run routes and catch.
If Evans was seriously interested in LSU I'd take the risk but only if you could get someone like Bradford with him. If he qualifies you kick him off the team at first sign of trouble. Otherwise, I'd rather focus on someone like Bradford. I think it would be worth spending 2 ships on RBs if Evans wanted in and could qualify. Have a decent amount of space in this class left.

First, the Aggies HAVE to take RBs but that isn't making their class very good or balanced. If Hubbard goes there, that would be 4 RBs in the class and none of them remotely that good. Second, Bradford as I've said all along is hell and back better than Hubbard...not even close. If you don't believe the ratings, look at their video. Hubbard is a good solid HS running back..that is it. For college, he doesn't have the speed to be a starting RB in the SEC unless you have no one else to start.
