I want this guy.
I hope he commits and blows up on the field.

Cinderella story as Bill Murray would say.

McMillian is like 6'1"/6'2"

I think you can be a good QB at 5'10" though, especially in college. Scott looks like a gamer and at least it'll help strengthen Louisiana HS ties.

Scott also ran for 1,963 yards on 228 carries and 28 TDs during the most prolific offensive season ever by a Baton Rouge player. Zachary is the first East Baton Rouge Parish public school to win a state football title since Tara in 1974.

“He is a guy you want to have as the face of your program,” Zachary coach David Brewerton said. “Lindsey’s a great student in the classroom and on the football field. Everybody sees how hard he works.

Zachary offensive coordinator Kenny Langlois also pointed out Scott’s tireless work ethic that included extra throwing after practice and extra film study.

“Lindsey’s drive is always to make sure he doesn’t put himself or his team in a bad situation,” Langlois said. “There’s no doubt he put us in the best situations possible. He’s proof that hard work pays off.”

That's fair.

But people who know Scott and have stood next to him say 5'10" at the tallest. I remember reading that months ago when his name was being floated around on the pay sites.

Again, I'm ok with it if he's a gamer and has good arm talent. Those two things can make height not matter as much, especially in college.

And even if we land Narcisse for 2017 he's not going under center.

Les will have 3 guys in 2018 who simply arent under center QBs. Will absolutely have to go to a shotgun spread for McMillian, Scott or Narcisse. These guys all ripped up high school using it, so no need to change what they comfortable with.

Now he has every right to make us wait. Cameron"s QB recruiting tactics have been worse than pathetic.

Nice.

That's great to hear.

Sounds like he has a lot of traits you want in a QB leader. I'm happy we're bringing him on.

This entire QB fiasco will be downright comical if he doesn't commit to LSU.

I'm pretty surprised they offered him. Not sure how receptive he'll be, but since he already decommitted from Syracuse, it can't hurt. Was a lot of smoke about Maryland and Rutgers before the LSU offer. Both of those teams are converting to true spread offenses. Hopefully we get him and cater the offense to our QB's strengths more than we have been
