Losses
-Taylor probably hops to the NFL
-Appears that Mike Tyler will flip to USCe
-We lost Mac Markway which hurt us this year

Gains
-JD LaFleur legacy kid. Has anyone seen him play. Def has good size.

Potential Gains
-Oregon is flipping 5* Linkon Cure from KState and already has high 4* Vander Ploog committed. Maybe we can get him to LSU?
-Tayvion Galloway, a prior commit who ended up at Purdue is in the portal and is up to 6' 6" 230
-Any others we are pursuing?

Wasn’t Galloway processed last year?

His "Handlers" supposedly pissed off the position coaches with wild demands

Why did Markway leave? Did he think that Green/Pimpton would be taking away reps from him? seems like with his body he would have been guaranteed playing time.

One of the most baffling things I’ve seen a transfer do.

He could have played this season (would have played a ton), got experience/tape, and still transferred afterward

Didn't want to play second fiddle to Taylor is my guess

He transferred to Nebraska, didn't record a reception this season. With Green and Pimp, he would still be playing at LSU. We used Bordelon as a TE in 14 personnel. One RB, 4 TE's. Kellys offense wants TE's, He will utilize the position within his offense.

I think he got injured and was out for the season, but agreed he would have gotten some significant PT if he stayed

Pretty sure Markway got hurt getting off the bus in Nebraska. No chance at creating any stats.

Pimpton looks good. Wish he'd have gotten that TD vs OU.

Walk-on tight end Mac Markway tore his ACL the week before the Colorado game and will miss the remainder of the season, Nebraska coach Matt Rhule announced.

I’d much rather focus on making Pimpton and Green elite.

Both those guys have all the intangibles in the world to be great.

He felt like he was recruited over. There were some other players who had the same reaction and left. It’s the new age of not wanting to compete and letting things play out.

Taylor - if you look at the money and the depth of the draft at TE, its possible Mason is looking at around 8-900k a year.

I think BK will get him over that to stay since it's a one year deal. ITs worth it.

We certainly need another TE that can block and catch out of the portal. Watch film, Green and Pimpkin are not good blockers at all.
