Not many people on the planet know more about playing DL. He would be a home run hire.

Williams was an outstanding pro as well as a tremendous college DL.

But I'll never forget that incredible play vs. Ole Miss in a big game when Lavalais bulldozed the Rebels center backward so fast that Eli Manning tripped over that center's legs and fell to the ground.

Is LSU going to let him hunt, fish, and golf at the same rate he can coaching a high school defense? The guys living his best life, and I can’t imagine he would want to leave for the uncertainty of college coaching.

What are we even talking about, taking a high school coach?

Just bring him in as a DL asst to teach technique, or perhaps an analyst. If he wants to pursue a larger role that’s great but he would definitely be an asset in teaching advanced line play, something we sorely lack.

He definitely knows the technique. He did not play all those years on athletic superiority.

Kyle has no interest in coaching at the college level. He and his family are very happy in Ruston. And trust, he is good enough to coach at the college level. He has his defense playing as possibly the best defense in the state. Two weeks ago they held LCA to 26 points and picked off Johnson 5 times. While I know that Johnson isn’t a college QB, take a second to look at what he has done to every other team in the state.

Kyle will be the next HC at Ruston HS and will likely spend the rest of his career doing just that.
