Kirby Smart watching Max Johnson tonight

I was told Kirby Smart took a Helicopter from Jacksonville to watch Max Johnson and his brother Jake play tonight.... Oconee vs North Oconee. Max Sliced & Diced North Oconee! .... info came from UGA Alum who is well connected. I asked if he thought there was any chance Kirby will Flip him.... his response.... "Doubtful, He really likes LSU, and his Dad does too"

I saw the family last week at the game and they were decked out all LSU gear

The only reason 90% of the folks on this board dislike Max is because, they’re stargazing. If the staff says they’re happy with Max, then that’s good with me. If we were still under the Miles regime, I might be a little worried. Max Johnson was ranked pretty high initially, then was lowered after committing.(which happens frequently when a kid commits early in the process) Stop looking at the stars and look at the offer sheet this kid has for goodness sake.

Could it be he is on the chopping block to make room for someone else? Or is Kirby just hoping that is the case? which qb is higher on the lsu board?

Kirby Smart is the new Les Miles of the SEC East. He runs a backward stone age offense and he plays extremely conservative football similar to Les Miles, and like Les Miles used to be, Kirby Smart is the worst gameday head coach in the SEC.
I mean most of the elite five-star talent in the state of Georgia are committing to teams outside of Georgia cause they know more than recruits from out of state that Kirby Smart can't coach or develop talent. Indeed, that's why LSU just signed two elite prospects from the state of Georgia.

Most on here don’t like him because of his numbers/stats.
I don’t because I don’t think he has the tools to be a good QB in the SEC. He has definitely improved though from last year.

Sounds like his brother Jake is gonna be a big time recruit too. Has offers from LSU and UGA already.

A good thing about Max is he has a fulltime quarterback coach in his dad. I think he will do fine here in Tiger Town.
