I wish fans would keep their cool and not harass parents and kids during their recruitment....

Exactly. Fans seem shocked that kids may look around and possibly change their mind or leverage for the best deal.

Imagine accepting a job offer, but you aren't allowed to sign a contract for up to a year (based on when you accepted) and aren't getting paid by that company. In the meantime you have other companies vying for your services. Whose going to say they wouldn't entertain other offers?

I hear you. But let's not pretend that Moses has not said a lot of things publicly that are inconsistent with what appears to be happening now. Don't talk about being a leader of the class and then even consider decommitting for marginal amounts of money in the long run. 30 pieces of silver.

Kids Kids Kids
Money Money Money
Never believe any commitment until the ink is dry.
I hear we received commitments for the 2026 class today.
Laughable to think they have 2 years and they stay committed.
Money Money Money
Recruiting news is a joke.

You're making an assumption that it's about money. You don't know that, unless you're Keylan, close to Keylan, or can read minds.

What the frick are you talking about lady. You've got it backwards, as usual.
You're either committed or you aren't.

Do we know for sure this is even about football?

I hope he still signs with LSU and becomes a leader of the team throughout a great LSU career, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed that he purported to be a leader of this class, and now seems to not be on board completely.

Bryce and Harlem are much more sought after, but their commitments have been rock solid, and they haven't flirted with every program that will pay them any attention. That's what commitment and leadership mean.

Good lesson, not just for football recruiting, but life in general. If you say you’re “committed” in any kind of relationship, but you’re still looking around, then you’re not really committed to that relationship and you’re lying to yourself and the other party.

In recruiting always follow what they do, not necessarily what they say. In this case both things are lining up for him to not be a part of this class. From the comments coming out of his camp, he feels disrespected or neglected or whatever talking points have been pumped into his head by A&M and Oregon.

Disappointing for a supposed leader in the class, but LSU would be fine without him. Antoine is a bigger loss.

Not necessarily. I honestly wish this thread would get whacked. Even if he is decommitting, Moses AND his mom publicly feuding with our fans is shite optics.

I don't disagree. I said earlier that Keylan was going to be different and his mom would want him at LSU. Maybe that's still true. Maybe not. Recruiting has always been a dirty business and even though there may be a little more transparency with NIL, the ugly side is getting even uglier. Throw in portal transfer rules and CFB has and will become a mercenary nightmare.

I am not about to sit her and care about a Moses kid and whether he will or won't end up at LSU. If he jets, I say don't even recruit the next one. Don't even play the game.

Don’t say you’re committed then
