We went with the likes of Malik Nabors, Jack Bech, BTJ. I don’t have a problem with our receivers but they clearly don’t have that dog in em like Keon does.

Yes I know they offered him in the portal but the damage was already done and he was never coming here. FACTS

Serious question - Does LSU even care about footall? Alla ya'll just run coaches out. Is the buyout gumbo? Alla ya'll can't play with the big boys. Penn State would light up death valley with slow Big Ten players.

Matthew Langlois locked him up every time they played in HS. They played 1A football and Coleman wanted to play basketball and football in college.. He was big and athletic enough that they should have offered, but he wasn’t exactly a slam dunk prospect.

I have no clue how hard we pushed for him in the portal, but he should’ve been a massive priority. MSU had a WR go in the 2nd round last year and Coleman outperformed him throughout the season. He’s going to go round 1 this year, no question.

I said before lsu isn’t as deep as people think at wr. Nabers is great, Thomas plays like he doesn’t want to be out there, lacy has a mental block with catching the ball, Anderson can do anything but run. It’s a problem.

Look who was in that 21 class

Coleman, Jardin Gilbert - starts a safety for A&M
Montrell Johnson, and Diggs

All should’ve been offered/pushed for out of high school
Instead we took Bech and langlois and no LA RB

Lester Earl called this in high school. Dude is a beast now. Physical, Powerful, and can high point a ball. Legit first rounder if he keeps it up. Luckily he is at FSU because with Daniels he would not sniff those results.

Again, he had it in his mind he was going to play basketball too. I think he committed to Kansas before Michigan State.

Well I guess Keon says different. Also people need to realize some players just want to leave the state and it's nothing against LSU. I believe that is the situation with McKinley and will be more. They are young and spent entire life in the state they want to see outside of the state. Just wish them the best when they not playing LSU.

Make sure I have this straight, with the damage being done. Because the former coach/staff didn’t offer him, he laughs off the offer from the coach/staff that does offer him at LSU.

I believe he played AAU basketball for Randy Livingston who was really pushing for LSU to push hard for him but for some reason Wade didn't have him as high on his list. Doubtful he would have played both at LSU as that never works out.

I highly doubt LSU offered and pressed for Keon out of high school and he chose to go to Michigan state… he’s “cappin”.

I think everyone pretty much said he wasn’t interested in coming here when he entered the portal tho. That I can believe.

Jojo Earle was also committed up until the early signing day in December before flipping to Bama.

Covid shutdown was the summer going into Coleman's senior season. Staff probably didn't get a chance to get any camp evaluation on him in person.

We should've added Coleman over Bech... but I think Bech's offer had a lot to do with making sure we landed Walker Howard.
