The ex-LSU point guard signee who didn't qualify is able to play right now due to an NCAA loophole and will be eligible to transfer and play immediately at the end of the spring:

I have a feeling he goes to Texas A+M

Hope he comes here though, he, Stringer, and Turner is a sick young backcourt

Didn't read the link but is the loophole just for UNO or equivalent? Because if something like aTm was really in the near future why UNO and not some directional in Texas?

Seems like this certainly bodes well for us if we remain interested in him, which I would imagine we might be.

We could probably use Cothron more than Ross-Miller.

Notice Zach Kinsley is their leading scorer. Good for him. Sounds like they will have a pretty good second half of the season with the two kids transferring in.

I wonder where Kinsley will go for his senior year.

Yeah, he can probably be a direct replacement for Singler.

I think K.C. Ross-Miller comes to LSU. Trent and KC's dad have formed a close relationship through the recruiting process.

How would we fit him in I thought someone would have to give up a scholly just to make room for the 2 guys coming in next year

We only have to make room for one of the two guys coming in. If we sign someone else, we will have to make room for them.

It is assumed by many that Chris Bass will pay his own way if asked, due to a scholarship crunch. His brother is in the NBA, so he can afford it. That takes care of one. I could really see Dennis Harris not returning. Our front line will be pretty deep next year and I don't see him getting much playing time in the future. He has already redshirted, so that causes a transfer problem. Would have to drop down a level.

We have 14 listed on current roster.Andrew Del Piero the tuba player from the band and Daron Populist the kid who made it on the roster from the tryouts may be dropped if Ross-Miller commits with the 2 guys coming into the program next year. You may have someone on the current roster transfer or become an academic casuality.

That wouldn't help at all, would it? Neither of those guys are on scholarship, and I don't think there isn't a max roster rule like in baseball... or is there?

The walk-ons don't effect anyone getting signed or not fwiw. I'm sure TJ would love to have 15 total to have 3 full teams for practice.
