Well not really. If the player reaches out to you, you can have contact with them.

I am pretty sure you cannot other than to tell them you cannot have contact with them.

Pretty sure most of these players have some form of an “agent” handling their business

True

n IF LSU contacted the player, you got plausible deniability just by saying “their agent contacted us”.

That isn't a tightrope I would want to walk when there is no need to do that.

Yeah, the only way anything happens if LSU's compliance gets strict which based on their history, wouldn't shock me. If anything, they should tear the compliance department down. All that's going out the window anyway. Everyone cheats.

Davison Alford would be great 82 tackles, 2 picks, 4 pbu’s this season. ASUis already 3rd school so clearly he is a transfer possibility.

This isnt true... College's have no power over athletes. The Ncaa and Sec have the exact same power over LSU. Are they more relaxed now with enforcement? Perhaps, but there will be a school that gets punished first and having your local media publish articles and put out a tweets every other day, if nothing else puts you under a microscope I don't see anywhere else.

Nobody knows for sure if true or not as Ohio state is still playing. The referenced quote was about us getting Thompson not a safety.

This is all done through agents. Agent contacts LSU saying we know you guys need a safety. Are you interested in my client XYZ? If so what kind of NIL deal can you offer or this is what we’re looking for. LSU can’t be implicated for tampering if the players agent contacts lsu.

None of this is true. LSU’s staff knows what they’re doing and they won’t get caught doing something illegal, even though there are literally no rules in today’s recruiting. Quit worrying over nothing.

Per Moscona, we have a silent commit from a tackle and a safety off of a team that's currently in the playoffs.

Im confused then. So how does this have to do with Thompson who plays for Northwestern and the teams he mentioned were Boise State and I’m assuming the safety for Arizona State?

Casey should have some NFL interest. Looks plenty big and mobile enough. Even if he can’t stick at LT at the next level.

I don’t care what level you play at, they said he gave up zero sacks until he finally gave up one tonight. I watched him handle Abdul Carter most of the night without much issue and that one of the best defenders in the Big Ten and country.

I was impressed. Would love for this news to be true for LSU

I think they said he has a 3rd/4th round grade

He mightve moved up some. Come to the sec for a yr and move up a couple more rounds. He is legit imo. Lsu will need an upgrade at lt.

Carter appeared to have sustained an injury at the start of the second quarter of Tuesday's Fiesta Bowl against Boise State following a completion. He did not return to the game for the Nittany Lions. And Carter was applying much pressure in the 1st Q

Fair but there were multiple series and he faired well

15 came in and got one sack around the edge. Otherwise 77 locked down that side and looked pretty good doing it. He also climbed to the second level and picked up blocks very well. Kids a player
