Saw some talk that A&M secured him with a bigger bag than ND yesterday. We’ll see.

I’ll be interested to see how this experiment plays out for A&M this time around with Elko. It blew up in their face a few years ago with Jimbo when they signed a ton of top 100 prospects with a lot of them transferring out. I’m not sure what the number is they’re paying to this class, but it’s well above everyone else.

Elco is a better coach than jimbo.

This approach just seems so much more unpredictable and risky than the transfer dominant model. Tho both are necessary, they seem to be putting more eggs in the recruiting basket.
