On3 has said NIL isn’t the difference here.
Just really frustrating how often we hear “we consider LSU the leader here but he still has the Bama visit” and 9/10 it seems that guy goes Bama.
Can’t really be angry with the staff either, seems like they did everything they could. Guess we will just have to beat that Gump arse on the field come Saturday.

It's disappointing but lots of whining going on in here about the talent in Bamas QB room. Last I checked it's not like we have 3-4 2-3* qbs in ours. I thought Walker Howard was the 2nd coming? Daniels was a near 5* with a year of eligibility remaining, Nuss, though I'm no fan, was highly thought of as well. At Bama all we know is Young who's gone and Hurts part 2 in Milroe. Holstein is suddenly a stud but I seem to remember many here didn't think that before. Lonergan will stick as long as Saban and baseball allow him to. Just as much opportunity there as here going by that. It's ok to admit that Bama is just better at this recruiting thing than we are and have been for over a decade. Why continue crying about it?

We'll get a QB. It's pointless to have 4 or 5 5* QBs on the roster anyway, most of them are gonna transfer out.

Qbs are recruited in off season with transfer portal nowadays. It’s literally the least important position to land out of high school nowadays.

Going to LSU or UGA makes sense because they are the only programs on the rise or already there, that don't have an elite QB commit in 2023 (Rickie Collins is going to need a few years). I mean he could go to UF but I don't think he fits Napier's system.

Well my guy was Lagway even though I think Sayin is more game ready. I was losing hope when TAMU kept being mentioned as his (Lagway) likely destination, but with what has been going on, can LSU pull him? If Sayin is a Bama boy, that's it.

They already know they are going to redshirt their first year so they think they can go there, win a NC, then transfer out to another school that needs a QB to start right away and not worry about winning a NC because they already have their ring, especially if the school has no shot at ever going to the CFP...

It really is sickening how we can lead for a kid for a year or longer then Saban just walks in last minute after not even being in the conversation and steals that kid the week of his commitment. shite happens all the time...

It sucks that he may be going to Bama, but we will have Daniels back for 23', Howard behind him and Collins with time to develop. Kelly likely continues to recruit HS QBs, but looks for a quality QB that transfers out due to a crowded QB room.
