Syracuse. A place you go for your football dream to end.

im guessing syracuse will entertain him as a QB

Kiffin could make him a good QB

I'm gonna be honest, I don't get the love for Johnson.
He's a fun piece, nice story, and I wish him well, but he doesn't really move the needle at all for me. He doesn't have the speed to excel at this level at the RB position.
Not trying to put the kid down, and I wouldn't be upset if he came back, but I also wouldn't be upset if he moved on.

Being an unselfish player is endearing.

I like how much he loves LSU. That's great. That love doesn't translate to wins on the field. I'm sure he's a great kid, but he's an average college RB.

quote:Why would Kiffin try and make him productive when he has 2 better RB in the room and is actively trying to bring others in? We even tried him in wild cat type looks and it didn't work.
I like him. Kiffin can make him productive.
If he wants a pay day, let him go grab his payday. He likely won't get one at the next level. No shame at all in that.

Exactly. Love that he wants to be a tiger but he’s unfortunately not that special and it’s obvious Lane and the staff don’t see a need for him here. Sucks but it’s the truth

Imagine missing out on Death Valley opening night under the Lane Trane against Clemson because you want to play QB.
And go play at Syracuse where it wouldn't even be a guarantee to play QB.

Because you live in reality.

This is a guy who could be an X factor in Lane's offense... some trickeration... some crazy play call that wins us a game or two
Beyond that, he's a great athlete.. I want him to stay at LSU
