Let me guess. You’re one of the jackasses who can’t tell the difference between a losing head coach who can recruit and one who can’t recruit?
Just because Jones was a bad head coach does NOT mean that he was a bad recruiter. Having him on staff as an assistant for recruiting is actually a great idea.
I guess you can’t see the value though because you think a head coach with a bad record must be bad at everything. That’s not true at all though. Those guys are often good recruiters and good assistants.

I refuse to disagree with who Wade wants on the floor or on his staff.
Also, we don't have PUSSIES running our athletic department anymore. Don't you think they've discussed any problem or potential problem 175 yo Dale Brown (who I LOVED as a kid growing up in the 80s) may or may not present to a Wade tenure?
Although I do believe Johnny brings value to the staff, and that's why he was hired, don't you belive it will make it considerably harder for DB and the race baiter to stir up shite now with Johnny having skin in the game also?

Alt, the number of regular posters on the rant who have any deductive reasoning at all number in the single digits.
I don't have ANY sources, but I was calling Kiffin and Wade to LSU during both processes. I don't think it's that hard to see a charred house in a pile of rubble and know it burned to the ground without seeing the fire.
There are an AMAZING number of simpletons here that can't see the forest because of the trees.

Stoudamire and Stansbury will do the heavy lifting in player development. Johnny is here to run bags back and forth; it’s a dirty job beneath most coaches but Johnny is willing.
