You're alright...nothing to bring home to mom. You have mixed feelings about me--be honest. I kind of like that in a weird way. Glutton for punishment? Maybe. Don't like people getting too close to me? Maybe a little of that too. Because it makes all of this more entertaining for me? A Whole LOTTA THAT.

LOL...welllll...this is actually the 4th time we've been together. Long breaks between each run. But now we're a little older, bought a new house, baby.... Times are a changin'.

I understand things are very fluid in recruiting, but considering fans we're melting hard after the ed O hire and guys wavering on commitments you probably should've held off on tweeting things were trending in the wrong direction. There was nothing to gain on your side and you kind of kicked your readers while they are down. Even if it was true ( I believe it was) sometimes you have to keep things to yourself

Ok, but back to the main topic.
1) When LA prospects defect to Bama it's obvious that their recent success is the main factor. But what's the next one?
2) Any transfer LB's or early grads that might come our way?

I contemplated that for a considerable amount of time. Myself and the vast majority of the local media anticipated Orgeron and Co. to run through a lot of walls, with a certain amount of naivety, due to the other issues that had to be ironed out with the staff. It did set LSU back. I felt that it was owed to my followers for them to realize that the following days could be rough--and they were. I followed it with a descriptive piece, backstory and analysis. Prior to that tweet, all they heard from me was lolli-pops and puppy breath. You guys are wanting me to change into what you're used to, instead of embracing what I am offering.

This approach was my plan from the day I started at NOLA as their first recruiting analyst and it likely isn't going to change. Sorry if it bothers you. I truly am. As a writer I want nothing more than to make everyone happy. Unfortunately, I lack patience and knew I had to push my way in. I wanted to bring a different perspective on how it was reported. I fed reporters info for years, and always thought of how I would handle it. When I got the microphone I skipped the mic-check.

I love what I do. I'm starting to worry about being the elderly recruiting analyst, but the kids keep me young.

Two good questions.1) While many around these parts adored and respected Miles, the groans and moans weren't ignored by all. It was time for a change. There were too many recruiting lapses under Miles as well. The coaches were barely allowed to recruit for an extended period of time during the season. I can't tell you how many times I had a prospect tell me LSU fell off because they didn't hear from them for an extended period of time. The other major factor is this underground group of ALabama supporters that have popped up over here. Everyone loves a winner, and they are winning.

2) One source told me there may be some guys they can make moves on, but I haven't heard it from anyone one else. It would have to be the right situation.

Are there any weak links on the LSU staff?

Any chance of Moses coming back to LSU?

Hypotheticaly Akers pledges along with Wilson, would that be enough? Or are there greater things behind the scenes causing the Bama lean?

"The Process"

Dylan Moses de-committed under Les's watch. His father came on this web-site and said they were impressed with the business first approach under Saban. Moses described Les as "your goofy uncle" type. I think LSU's firing of Les gave Moses the perfect reason to bow out of playing for LSU.

i don't think so. as an early enrollee, he has already filed his tuition assistance paperwork. That in itself may not "bind" him to a school, but it's the first step.

LSU currently has the 4th rated class. I'd say both Wilson and Akers would be insane. I'm hoping for both, but will settle for Wilson.

Not my fault you don't understand recruiting.

Come on, man. There were plenty of facts in there, but that article amped up the drama BIG TIME. Everything was skewed as negative as possible for effect.

We understand you work for a paper. Gotta sell copy and get clicks. You did that. But don't act like that was Pulitzer Prize-level objective journalism. That's why people are coming back at you. If the first article had been a little more level-headed, none of these comments would exist.

All that said, I appreciate the info you give us. Any criticism aside, I hope you keep bringing it to the board.

Akers told the Florida State staff tonight he will be committing to them on the 27th

And? Not over until he signs papers. We have been burned after players committed to us. Hopefully our staff fights all the way to that point.

i don't know about anyone "freaking" out. but on Dec 11th you announced it looked like Lane Kiffen would be OC. on the 12th Kiffen signed with FAU.

then on the 12th you wrote your doom and gloom on recruiting. Monty Rice committed the next day. Guidry is back. Narcise is back.

i believe you get most of your information from here.

His style isn't for everyone, but you have to admit, it did get rough.

Love when these threads turn into a "Hey Jimmy where do we stand with so-and-so recruit".

Jimmy usually goes into hiding at this point. He doesn't get paid to give our free details!
