i don't know about anyone "freaking" out. but on Dec 11th you announced it looked like Lane Kiffen would be OC. on the 12th Kiffen signed with FAU. then on the 12th you wrote your doom and gloom on recruiting. Monty Rice committed the next day. Guidry is back. Narcise is back. i believe you get most of your information from here.

How do you think the class ends up.. Wilson? Cchassion? M Bryant? D smith? J Phillips? Mathis? Amik?

I think Wilson and Mathis wrap up the defensive line. In a good position with both. I believe McMath will be the next commit, and if Devonta Smith wants in, they will make room and take a 4th WR. Amik is interesting. The recent convo they had with Orgeron and Raymond covered offense and defense. If there's room, they would likely take him. Chaisson seems to be coming back around a bit, but I'm still not convinced he will sign with LSU. It just doesn't feel right to me. The kid seems to be all over the place.

Probably not going to happen at this stage of my life. If it bothers you that much, maybe you should work on that.

And...? You think it's fair to my employer to spill everything on other sites? I can't do that. I give as much as I can.

I would say that the WR would be Nico Collins

Jimmy, I've heard nothing out of the Akers camp. It's very quiet. Why all the love for FSU this week?

You just posted that LSU is in it in the other thread. You aren't even trying anymore.

Nico is certainly in play. LSU has a shot, although you don't hear his name much.

I've gotta think it's the bama WR that's coming in to visit that will pop.

He's always liked FSU. Not having an OC really set LSU back. On the in-home, they told him Kiffin was coming. It was a bad week for LSU and Akers.

losing out on Akers spoils this whole class for me. I know there are great players and we will finish highly ranked, but what might have been. It feels like Dinardo just got the job, but lost out on Kevin Faulk.

Gets me right in the feels...........

McMath has a short window here to commit. He waited too long last time and they filled up.

You are fricking nuts. Akers isn't a LA product - he isnt essential to our success moving forward - and we aren't losing him to another SEC West team.
What you described would be if Fournette was a recruit this year and we lost him to Bama. THAT would be devastating. This is something we don't even think twice about.

tell me that in a couple of years when Guice is gone. I never said it felt like Faulk was going to a rival. It's just that Akers would have been a centerpiece for Canada to build around for years to come. It would have been a momentum builder

We will always be fine at RB. We lose Akers this year, but most likely grab Ettiene. Next year we are after a pair of GREAT RBs in White and Franklin. RB is probably the 2nd easiest position for LSU to recruit behind DB.

I'd be happy with McMath. Kid is severely underrated.
