It's because Clemson has been his favorite for awhile then the new high on LSU he blew up interest here. The question is if once that high dies down if he goes back to Clemson but right now LSU feels like they got the lead. On recruits like this, distance is a big factor almost always even if he says it's not an issue. If LSU is packing lineman elsewhere then that says their confidence level on him.

Burch's mom loves coach O. That's enough for me to think LSU has a great shot at him.

After Lee I would assume Burch is leaning LSU, but I’m not holding my breath. To have high profile last minute flips like Gilbert + Burch both in one year would be nuts. You just don’t see that sort of thing very often.

From what I’ve read and heard it is likely LSU or UGA with clemson running 3rd.

Hell yeah, that's really good news. There's really no way that can be bad news or be a guess right? It wouldn't make sense for him to just make a huge pick like that on a whim at this point of the recruiting process. At least that's the way I see it. Why would he put in a pick one or that without some solid info? Makes me excited and optimistic that one of these guys we processed were to make room for him...the other is for Evans I'm pretty sure. The more we process from here on out just means we are making room for another player that this staff thinks will be more productive for us and give us more talent to win more games with...I'll take that anyday. Geaux tigers.

I was reading a Clemson message board thread that was posted on here and nearly all of the Clemson fans thought LSU leads for him. He hasn't taken an Official visit to Clemson and all of them were saying, "follow the visits."

Imo LSU needs to go bigger at that rush end spot. Someone just like this. Someone big, quick, can bend, has long arms, and has the strength to go through an OT in the SEC consistently. These smaller guys just can’t get through once that big OT puts his hands on them. Guys like Hunter, Burch, even old school Spears is what I’d look for.
The guys like Chassion should be coming on blitzes out numbering the offense, stunts or delayed blitz. So they would have to play the field as well. Every down rusher should be like this guy Burch with it all. That’s just me.
