I bet it is Langston. Foreman is already signed and Langston was looking for an edit the other day.

Geaux Edits is just the guy for the job.

Have not seen him play and the comments on him are generally very positive. But I’m just curious - he’s listed at 195. Is that correct or is that old?

Davis & especially his dad have been so pro-LSU it’s weird to me they wanted to wait. Might be a JoJo Earle situation

I think with the addition of Goodwin, Diggs has turned into a back burner guy. If some things go wrong they will take. I keep seeing the Queen comps, and quite frankly he isn’t quite that type of athlete. Doesn’t mean he can’t be a good LB. but if that was the goal they should have just kept Gee & moved him to LB, unless he wasn’t open to that (I think I saw that rumor )

Exactly what I was thinking too

Smart minds think alike: If 3 or 4 of the OL come back, then I think you can get by with signing 2 HS OL recruits. If you only get 2, you might need to bring in a OL from the Graduate Transfer Group or go Portal.

Football coaches are not fired, or even put on the hot seat, for recruiting losses.

Recruiting only affects job stability as it relates to on-the-field results.

It's all about winning.

Picked up from one of the TOS that Gee was not open to playing LB. I think Notre Dame took him as a Safety and that is where he went. Good for him that he landed at a Top 10 type P5 program.

Ok, based on your thinking, Goodwin getting a RB slot making Diggs a back burner suggest you think he is a RB at the SEC level or if he goes to Notre Dame.

LSU has 3 potential CBs they don't need anymore in this class. They need Oline and nothing else unless some generational talent that's unsigned wants in.

I think Diggs is better than Kiner so yes I think he’s an sec caliber RB. He’s a prototypical modern offense RB

But I think he was enticing to LSU before they knew for sure about Goodwin, and before they flipped Strong at LB.

Now I think it takes Davis bailing

Ok, thanks. Well he could very much wind up in this class. LSU's RB roster after next season could be Bradford and whatever we sign in this class. While I am a believer of guys staying and coming back if you can move your draft position up even 1 round (If you are a 1st rounder after your JR season, you go no ifs ands or butts), RB's don't command a premium any longer in the NFL in terms of 1st or 2nd day picks. In addition, when you factor the tenure of an NFL running back, it is like 3 years or so.

If he misses on Leigh you think this Oline and getting Jucos will build a championship level program?
