He was WVU’s best defensive player this season. He’s a really athletic guy and can eat blocks. I’m not sure how many years of eligibility he has left

2 years according to the portal. Which doesn’t make sense bc he played the majority of every season in ‘19 ‘20 ‘21 ‘22 which would mean only Covid year remaining. Unless I’m missing something.

247 says 2 but it looks like he has played in 3 seasons plus a Covid year so who knows.

Effectively, he has one year.

Because if he does what he's projected to do, he's going to have a pretty good opportunity in the draft in 2024.

We've now got a pretty full room on the defensive line, but almost everybody's going to be draft-eligible after this coming season - so defensive line is likely to be THE concern area. Don't be surprised if we take 7 or 8 next year.

Covid added a year of eligibility. Players basically have 5 years available to play. He has only played 3 of them, so 2 years available.

Dante Sills was by far the best DL on WVU. He is a two time first team all big-12 selection and top five all time at WVU for TFL and sacks.

Wiggins and Womack are pass rushers. Smith has NFL pass rush potential if he’s locked in.

He was the best, but had a down year. Jefferson was consistently getting more penetration. Stills put on weight and wasn’t very explosive this year

And obviously Harris Perkins. They are slotting him at inside linebacker but gotta think he is on the edge in pass rushing downs

Yeah I guess most people forgot the year we pretty much played both LoCouture and Godchaux for 90% of the snaps at DT

It's good to see quality depth being added along the d line. I was so pumped to see Smith last season, I hope he can stay injury free next season. And Wiggins will be a rs freshman not a sophomore.
