I remember us receiving an official from him before he committed to Texas. With all the recent losses on the oline, would be a very nice pickup.

I wonder if Herman would block him from signing with us bc of the satellite camp fiasco

Couldn't make the grades, if I recall.

Probably uncomfortable being french kissed by Herman after every play.

If he couldn't make it at Texas why bother?

I just thought of this too. It's not like he isn't cutting it at bama and fell behind some 5*s

I believe he started 3 games at RG as a freshman so i dont get where people say he couldnt cut it. He is a OT and I think we was running 2s or 3s at that position where he wanted to play.

I would welcome him with open arms to LSU.

For sure I think this would be a very solid get considering our spline depth

Sometimes a fresh start somewhere can work wonders for a kid. Sometimes it doesn't. Each situation has it's own attributes we don't know about.

Do we need another OT that Bama DE can shove all over the field?

Texas has the #1 OL prospect for next year's NFL draft starting at LT. If the RT is pretty decent and this kid is good enough to make some starts at OG as a true freshman, then maybe he just wants a new start where he can play tackle.

He was there for 1 year as a true freshman and played in some games. He just didnt like Herman. It happens sometimes during coaching changes. He wasn't buying into what Herman was selling.

similar situation with Willie Allen at LSU. Kid gets bumped to 3rd string OT and clearly not happy with coaching staff. Decides to leave and get a fresh start elsewhere

He got passed up and wants to leave already. Sorry I'm out on kids that leave just because they can't earn playing time.

Hell yeah LSU should take him. Four star depth is always welcome at LSU

Given the lack of OL depth, LSU coaches need to give Delance a strong look.

I'm sure they will at least look at him, but I did read something today saying Delance is going to send his release form to Michigan and they are a potential suitor for him
