Some of y'all can't be serious in here with this melting lmao. We just officially got the DB coach 4 days ago. This kid has never visited LSU, is from florida and pretty much a UF legacy.

Napier is desperate right now. Desperate people will take desperate measures. Napier has underwhelmed big time in his two years there. Now, they face what looks to be a brutal schedule (on paper) coming off of a losing season. Combine that with the fact his top 5 recruiting class completely fell apart on signing day, and he's trying to find SOMETHING to give Florida a reason to keep him around after next season.
Florida's final 5 games next year:
Georgia
at Texas
LSU
Ole Miss
at FSU
If he doesn't have six wins by Oct. 19 he may be looking at a 2nd losing season in a row. That would mean the end of his tenure and, likely, the end of his chance to be the HC at a major conf. program ever again (or at least for a while)
