Like I said, I trust Ed O and his evaluation of these recruits and I support his decision on this bc I know he knows what he's doing. This is his element man and his domain. He recruits his arse off and has always has a keen eye for recognizing talent everywhere he's been...even at ole miss when he was there, lol. The guy can flat out spot talent and potential. Damn right I'm behind this move. I can't wait to see how this class ends up. It's gonna be special.

If Gaye were to go, he would have been the first one especially before they ax a LA kid. You never want to see that and they better hope they nail his replacement & Lee is never a problem for us for wherever he goes.
As for Gaye I think they think of him as a plug and play starter in 2020. O loves his jucos and they will need him immediately. They haven’t had a twitchy DE with his size like him in the Aranda era.

i'm sure this isn't easy for Coach O after touting he wants to keep kids in the state. I dont know the criteria in these hard decisions. I suspect EE and academic risk plays heavy in the decision. Im sure Coach O would love to fill the majority of the class in December during the EE

I don’t know shite and I’m not second guessing anything the coaches do. I’m just surprised LSU would ever let a 4 star DL go. Seems like there would always be room for more depth at DL and OL.

According to Rivals database, which goes back to 2002, they have had 4 prospects assigned stars: 3 2-stars and Jalen.
