All the more reason to get rid of him. We should have pulled the cord when we were getting rid of Wade ( Is who actually was a very valuable asset). I doubt there's much more he could bring up at this point that would dig us into much deeper overhole

Because Auburn is not some no brainer academic choice and Auburn, AL is not a very attractive place to live. It doesn't have anything over LSU.
I get wanting to leave BR, but go somewhere that offers something better.

so a small college town is not a very attractive place to live when you have been stuck in a larger city full of crime and culture?
look i mean im not advocating that Auburn is a better school or choice than LSU but it was a year when we had a coaching change. Auburn is totally different than LSU and BR.
do i think he made a mistake, absolutely...their shithole of a coach will be fired within 2 years but I alos can see why the kid did that.

trust me, wasnt me but Louisiana was a shithole under the last 2 republican governors too and has a culture of shittiness in many parts that has existed way before i was born.

This is how you dig yourself into a deeper hole. In the big picture not much has actually come out that the school or program did directly. I would bet a disgruntled Ausberry could easily make the last three years seem tame.

This kid was never going to LSU, just like his brother was never going to LSU. They probably got upset that their dad was suspended by LSU. Neither is a "must have" recruit, so let them go elsewhere. I just don't view it as unexpected or a big loss.
