I was watching this kid's film the other day. Such a relaxed, effortless runner. But when he puts his head down, he's got another gear. He is fun to watch.

One of the better HUDLs I’ve seen from a RB this year

Explosive.

Skip to 1:42 to see this mans speed

Run at 3:52 reminded me of clydes 5 yard run vs UF

Want.

What is the story on LSU’s interest in him? I didn’t see the offer on 247. GA is not on the offer list either. Looks like a find!

That was my first thought too.

But maybe this guy has been flying under the radar a little and since the coaches just checked him out they really like what they see and offered. Could be that simple and have nothing to do with the current recruitment with Evans.

Get oLine.

Worry about Rb in 2021.

That guy is way underrated. That's some of the best highlights I've seen from a RB. I thought he was a little slow until about the 3 minute mark. I see what some of you were talking about when you said he had an extra gear. He's fun to watch. Lazy bugger runs EXACTLY how fast he has to.

It is prudent to grab a RB in every class. And I think Curry eventually transfers. Can't risk not having several top quality backs by throwing the dice we'll get 2 next year.

I think this kid looks pretty damn elite. He's got excellent vision, burst, cutting, and a breakaway gear. Such a fluid looking athlete and natural running back. I would love to get him if we don't get Evans (and apparently the coaches agree).

Texted my buddy that is a Dalton grad and still keeps up with the program a lot.

Said he is decommitting very soon from Georgia Tech and that both Ohio State and Georgia have said they're going to offer him. People think he is going to one of those two schools.

Great comparison. I sometimes see people compare recruits to NFL players and they are usually completely off. This doesnt seem like one of those times. He may not be as good but he runs very similarly.

They way he puts his foot in the ground and cuts is very impressive. It would be great to get this guy IMO.

I like the clyde style jumps. This is the kind of back that works well in RPO offense.

He is also bigger than Clyde and probably can take more hits. I fear for Clyde's life sometimes when he gets hit as much as he did in the Texas game.

I remember this kid, a couple of weeks ago on the news, in Atlanta, he ran for 420 yards and 8 touchdowns in 1 game.

Dalton senior running back Jahmyr Gibbs stands atop the Chattanooga area's all-time single-game rushing list after catching the nation's eye in Friday's 62-10 road victory over Ringgold.

Gibbs is the clear-cut Times Free Press player of the week after he totaled 420 rushing yards in three quarters and scored on eight of his 23 rushes.

Breaking tackles and speeding past defenders, the Georgia Tech commitment had 270 rushing yards and four scores on 11 carries by halftime.

I hope he tries out LB before he transfers. Seems to have a better body style for LB.
