Does anyone really expect a kid who is "tired of HS football" to make a long-term commitment to the school he signs with as a developmental freshmen D-linemen?

The kid isn't tired of HS football, he was able to speed up his payday. Its the same thing with every kid who commands top dollar on this board "they wont work once they show up" and "they will be lazy once they get paid". If a kid was going to be lazy and not work he was going to be lazy and not work even without NIL.

I don’t know the kid but I’m a pretty positive person and think it could be he’s so good and bored with high school football he needs a bigger challenge. The smart kid who is bored with school type. He needs next level coaching and pushing. Just a thought.

I want him bad to sign with LSU, but I also can imagine a 15yr old eating a chili pie with a pencil n the other hand saying “ Who made that tackle bro”
Other 15yd old with make shift Stat sheet says “ I’m not sure!?!” Guy with pencil says “phuk it give it to Thanos”

12 games as a sophomore. So, nobody knows his name, his image, or his likeness. Yet, $6,000,000.00.

And when he gets bored as a true freshmen because he needs development and isn't getting playing time, he'll just hit the portal and go to the next highest bidder.

Whoever pays for his first NIL deal is just burning money.

Some of these quotes sure paint a diva like mentality, hope it works out in the end for the young man nonetheless

From a new article on ESPN today posted after his signing.

quote:

"I feel as though if I go on campus now, I could take somebody's spot and go get three sacks, easy. I'm a competitor," Stewart recently told ESPN. "My mindset is different."
