I just get the impression that he’s making a string of bad decisions, likely on the advice of a handler.

He is from Reserve and was in the East St. John system, a very reputable program. Then he goes to St. Aug, also a reputable program. And I’m not diminishing Karr, they’re among the best too.

But why all this? It’s just fishy.

The awful decision is deciding to transfer and reclassify on September 10 and not June 10. Pretty simple and straightforward.

If your answer is gonna be "he won't be physically ready" then just log off because that's a preposterous statement. He's as physically ready as basically any recruit in the 2025 class. He's comfortably more physically ready than dom mckinley was at this point last year. Do you think Dom McKinley--a literal 5* and one of the top IDL recruits in his class--was too physically immature for his class? Like, come on. Which of our current 2025 DL/EDGE commits would you be more comfortable relying on for live snaps in the 2025 CFB season than Jahkeem Stewart? I'd take Stewart over every one of them, and it's not even close. Do you think those guys won't be ready for college next year? The bottom line is that even if Stewart reclassifies he still has 5 years starting with the 2025-26 season in which to turn himself into a college player. If he can't do that, then reclassifying isn't the issue - he's just not the guy we thought he was.

You don't know anything about this either.

This is not a thing. Especially for a lineman as young as him.

I understand that. But he could have stayed at ESJ and done the same thing, or transfer over the summer to Karr.

This is better than IMG, as far as hopes of him coming to LSU. Is it still thought he's USC bound?

He will have to accelerate his course load. And make good enough grades. Maybe those werent achievable at St. Aug

From what I just read in this thread the USC DLine coach is a Karr alum.

He seems pretty confident in LSU’s chances

He’s not eligible. Meaning he’s played as a Freshman and a Sophmore, one game as a Junior. He’ll sit out the remaining of this season and early enroll in college, starting the spring semester. He’ll be a Tiger.

Shea said he was ineligible his freshman year. So he has played 1 total year of high school football, which was his sophomore year.

If he re classifies to ‘25, where does that put him in rankings overall. If he commits to LSU, where does that put this class as one of all time greats.

A lot of “ifs” obviously

Frank Wilson used to coach at Karr, so both have ties to the school

Stewart if I remember in a ON3 article or rivals, said that he’s a top 5 prospect for the next 2 years, so I would think the services would keep him at 5 star or prolly the highest rated 4 star
