Several websites have him coming to LSU. I think one gave like a 90% chance of landing in BR. Who knows? It changes from minute to minute!

He is interested in playing, in college. When you are, because of your size and talent, a lock for the NFL barring some type of catastrophic injury, then the main goal is to get to the NFL as soon as is physically possible.
This might be the thought process, but it’s pretty flawed. DL, Specifically DT, is one of the hardest positions into the next level at. It is incredibly rare to see a true freshman succeed, so skipping an entire year of HS to get to college early is a huge gamble. The level of skill it takes to be successfully is even more important than the strength, and very few, if any 18-19 year olds can handle it. There have been plenty of other elite DL prospects that checked all the boxes and never figure it out as well.
This is about getting to the first big NIL check from whatever team wins the bid, more than his first NFL check imo.

How many of those websites predicted him to leave St Aug and enroll at IMG with tuition paid for by USC?

I can’t see lhsaa allowing him to play at karr at this stage

He has been ruled ineligible. This is simply a move so he can be on a college campus in January

There have been rumors of him reclassifying since the spring. Why couldn’t this be sorted out months ago?
He’s getting awful, awful advice. What a clusterfrick.
Jordan Arcement just added this to his Instagram story, so I’m assuming it’s legit he’s going to Karr.

In a move that will send ripples through the Catholic League, Jahkeem Stewart, the top-ranked 2026 prep prospect in the nation, has unenrolled from St. Augustine and is now set to join Edna Karr.
Known as “Thanos” for his dominant presence on the field, Stewart is ranked by On3, ESPN, and Rivals as the No. 1 player in the country. Jeremiah Gray of G_Sportz first reported the news.

if LSU can get this guy then it all worked out perfectly for us. getting him this year with Pickett and the other top commits on defense immediately transforms the defense into a top 10 national defense. we already have talented true freshman getting a lot of experience. Stewart , Pickett and Underwood = NC.

I hope the bit about Frank being heavily involved is true.

I don't either but LHSAA is a shite organization. If he is allowed to play at Karr then just do away with all of the rules regarding transferring.
Edit to clarify - it looks like he won't be playing. I just take the chance to shite on LHSAA when possible because they deserve it.

Also would this transfer be for athletic reasons? No way it isn’t since it’s based on Stewart not being able to reclassify
Read what you wrote here one more time, but slowly: He's transferring... in order to graduate earlier. Even if we all understand that in reality it stems from football, the fact is that, by any conceivable standard, the ability to count credits differently and thereby graduate earlier qualifies as an academic reason.
ETA: Also, from the LHSAA's perspective, "athletic reasons" probably means reasons related to **HS athletics** - which would not be this.

There is more to the story than is publicly known.
Kudos to St. Aug for not compromising its integrity.

He’s not eligible. Meaning he’s played as a Freshman and a Sophmore, one game as a Junior. He’ll sit out the remaining of this season and early enroll in college, starting the spring semester. He’ll be a Tiger.

He’s getting awful, awful advice.
I love how people just come out with statements like this based on absolutely nothing whatsoever. If he was advised to reclassify, why exactly would that be "awful, awful advice"?
If your answer is gonna be "he won't be physically ready" then just log off because that's a preposterous statement. He's as physically ready as basically any recruit in the 2025 class. He's comfortably more physically ready than dom mckinley was at this point last year. Do you think Dom McKinley--a literal 5* and one of the top IDL recruits in his class--was too physically immature for his class? Like, come on. Which of our current 2025 DL/EDGE commits would you be more comfortable relying on for live snaps in the 2025 CFB season than Jahkeem Stewart? I'd take Stewart over every one of them, and it's not even close. Do you think those guys won't be ready for college next year? The bottom line is that even if Stewart reclassifies he still has 5 years starting with the 2025-26 season in which to turn himself into a college player. If he can't do that, then reclassifying isn't the issue - he's just not the guy we thought he was.
And if that's not what your answer was gonna be, then what *was* your answer gonna be?
