Does it have to do with them not letting him reclassify?

mid season?

Discipline issues or does St Aug not allow you to graduate early?

I read somewhere that St Aug does not allow a student to reclassify.

Public school and some private schools it just about state credit for a degree, but I know when I was at Rummel it didn’t matter what I needed for a GED, I needed 4 years of HS.

weird he decided at the start of football season though. I imagine he’ll be at IMG in a week

Weird, I was just reading about it on Nola...

Is he transferring out of state...?

He can't transfer to another in state school without sitting out a year huh? Weird he would sit out his junior year.

quote:

One of the top defensive players in the country is no longer enrolled at St. Augustine.

Jahkeem Stewart, the five-star rated defensive lineman for the 2026 signing class, has withdrawn from the school, St. Augustine coach Robert Valdez said.

The 6-foot-6, 277-pound standout may be on the move to another school, perhaps with intent to reclassify to the 2025 signing class.

Strange. There were rumors a couple days ago on this board but it took almost 2 days for the news to make it to social media.

I hope for our sake he doesn’t reclassify, especially in light of the USC loss. I hate how all of this lines up.

Does this make it harder for LSU to recruit him?

Some other (apparently reputable) posters were talking about Stewart to USC as basically a done deal. Compared it to Cam Robinson, Landon Collins recruitments.

He’s gone unfortunately. It’s all good. Can’t get everyone.

Headed to IMG, then USC in January. That's a wrap.

I’m not a fan of this move and moreso the timing of it. Understand he’s a great player, but this screams headache.

St.Aug has sent a lot of successful kids to the next level, you can’t tell me this is about development or opportunity.

From what's been posted, its USC with Oregon entering the picture and its a money thing.

It's completely about opportunity. He doesn't want to stay in high school another year, cashing in now. Can't say I blame a 17-18 year old being offered likely seven figures.

It screams money and handlers. I hate losing a talent, but this one sounds like some people may not have his future in mind.

Reminds of how Sopsher was handled. Grown people enriching themselves instead of doing right by the kid.

Yup, I dont blame him or hate on him for chasing the money either. We're all chasing it like it or not.

Get it while you can, retire as fast as you can kid.
