I’m sorry I just don’t get it. I know his dad is employed by LSU and the shtstorm that went on, he’s still there. I know they’ve been in BR their whole lives, maybe want out. But I saw a story on him and he didn’t even mention LSU, ND TXAM Auburn (brother there) are the only schools he mentioned. Call me butthurt or whatever but this pisses me off that he acts as if LSU doesn’t exist. I don’t know him but I can almost feel from just reading this that these young men hate LSU. He’s potentially an Elite LB #3 in 23 and not to mention the #4 LB TC doesn’t mention us either. Is there anything to this or is this just kids have been here their whole life and need to leave or they just have no interest in the University that I’m sure has awarded their family with a great job and comfortable income.

Get over it.

Happens all the time.

Not mad at all that Moss jr came here.

Give and take. That was a give.

I hate that people just assume everyone is up on who every recruit in the country is. Who the hell is TC?

I assume Tacket Curtis.

Either way, some just want to leave the state and there isn’t anything you can do about it.

I have no doubt that Matt House will recruit and develop the LB room at an elite level. Whether that involves Curtis or Ausberry doesn’t really matter.

Curtis is going to either Ohio State, USC or Wisconsin.

That’s been settled for some time.

But there’s no ax to grind against LSU there at all.

Rather have kids that want to be Tigers in their heart.

Kids that are pressured into attending don't work out anyway.

No kid is bigger than the program.

When you live in Louisiana long enough then visit other places in the country, you can't wait to get away fast enough. These are facts. Deal with it son. It's not a knock on him and quite frankly, it's none of your business why he wants to leave. Broaden your horizons and you'll understand why LA keeps losing population.

Understandable. However when the kids at University high School get an education that 95% of kids in Louisiana could only dream of, it seems a little sh***y that they all leave the state.

There are kids in the river parishes, Acadiana area, etc that could only dream of being developed at you high and stepping right into LSU ready to succeed

I am so fricking sick of people ripping this state. If you don't like it get the frick out and stop spewing your criticism to get attention.

No surprise, he goes to U High. School is great at producing douche bags with last names for first names and athletes that go to Alabama.

What is wrong with that assessment? Some people grew up in Louisiana and want to leave. I mean it seems Ausberry and Curtis are doing exactly that. They want to leave. It’s ok. It’s their decision. You’re getting mad that if someone wants to leave then just leave. Well they are leaving and you’re mad about it.

This is the truth. The great thing about kelly is he isn't going to wait around and get left at the altar like o would.

That's all true - and well put.
But making the same point the poster implies that seeing anywhere else will inspire a desire to flee:
"When you live in Louisiana long enough then visit other places in the country, you can't wait to get away fast enough."
That's an inflammatory statement. It almost sounds like a projection of what might have been his own experience.

Then: "These are facts. Deal with it son." Do what? Those two sentences don' mean shite. Any person can make any statement about any subject then declare the statement is fact but that doesn't make it so.

"It's not a knock on him and quite frankly, it's none of your business why he wants to leave." It's none of the poster's business either but we now we've been subjected to his fricking drivel when he could have just kept it to a simple statement like you did.

Not so, My Man. I'm referring to the poster and others who unnecessarily shite on the state on a sports board instead of getting out and away from what they are griping about in the first place. I have no animosity toward folks who want to leave Louisiana. Same goes for the athletes - though I will inquire as to their situations/motivations on this board at times. The TE from New Iberia comes to mind.
Anyways, to my way of thinking if you are unhappy with this state then by all means go if leaving might increase your lot in life. That's none of my business but good on you. That said, if you are unhappy with the state but choose to stay in your current surroundings/situation then do your griping and bitching on some non-sports board.
Or you could just spare us all your drama and get the frick out...
