Just hard to get excited about Finley. Very slow feet and lumbering. Don't see hm escaping trouble at the next level. Great arm and he is twice as big as anybody he is playing against.

Brennan should EARN being the QB next year
Bingo!
He will likely start next season assuming Parrish doesn't set the world on fire in the Spring or we get a talented grad transfer. A Jalen Hurts or Joe Burrow just doesn't turn up every year.
Myles will have to continue to earn it because you play the guy who gives you the best chance to win.
Brennan appears to be a smart kid and we know he has an arm. The question is whether he is decisive and poised, i.e. can he handle it. After three years he should have the goods.

Everyone forgets about Brennon, THE GUY is a PURE PASSER...

Meanwhile Brennan just continues to get better and better. Glad to see our fans believe in him

Dude. DJ Uiagalelei isn’t going to LSU. Give it up.

Why can’t you just be happy for him?

So? What did he do that would lead you to believe he won’t be good next year.

Ohio St didn't think Joe was the answer either, which is why he landed at LSU.
that's not true. he was beaten out by a guy who went in the 1st round and was in the Heisman race last year
quote:
the question is can he be developed like Joe has been? I
we have to ask Urban Meyer that question b/c he is the guy who developed Joe

They both just struggle when the pads go on with accuracy it seems.
The most influential offensive mind in CFB history on QB accuracy
quote:
Over the years, Leach has learned one of the most important things quarterbacks need that can’t be taught is accuracy.
“People make this mistake all over the country, and everybody can think of one, but there will be a guy who is big, strong and athletic, and everyone gets tempted by speed and if someone has a super strong arm.”
quote:
“Then they say ‘Well all he has to do is work on his accuracy. Well ok. He won’t be accurate in high school. Then some college will take him, and then he won’t be accurate there, and then the NFL says ‘all he has to do is work on his accuracy,’ and they’ll take him there, and he won’t be accurate there and then he’ll be out of the league.”
“The thing that’s amazing to me, is that after all of high school he’s not accurate, and now all of a sudden you’re special and you’re going to make him accurate? And then after college he’s not accurate, and you’re special and you’re going to make him accurate? I just haven’t seen that happen. I’ve seen guys improve, but they don’t all of a sudden become accurate.”

are not LSU material. With the wr’s we have
Amazing how you know just so much better than the entire offensive coaching staff about the potential chemistry the incoming QBs would have with our current and future wideout talent...
How many of their games have you been to during their recruitment? Also, how many of the wideouts have you seen in person as well? At least....those that aren't already current players...
It really makes me so very confident to know that some random person on a message board seemingly knows more than a collection of vastly experienced coaches with elite college and pro level time under their belts.
I mean....where were you when the staff needed some new offensive concepts and was out to hire some new blood? Looking back on it now I can only wish LSU had not just gone to the saints and just picked some guy to reinvent our systems ....
I can only imagine you were somewhere just way too busy with the your internet analysis to be bothered with the job....stupid coach O....not exploring every avenue and just settling on Joe Brady....
Can't wait to see you someday leading an offense that generates 500 yards and 50 points per game against the best of competition. Because clearly your QB evaluation is just so spot on....
Fricking retard.

I'm just not convinced. Same way y'all aren't convinced that Parrish or our QB commits could be good for us

Calm down Cletus. It's not that deep. Take a breath and walk it off

Why are people so down on Brennan? We have 2 guys coming in this year and Brennan next year. It will take more than 3 games to reverse the overall perception of LSU being super conservative.

Everything was wrong, plus you don't have to do all of that. It's unnecessary

I love our 2 QB recruits. So does O, Brady and Coach E. We are set for 2020.
