Probably doesn't mean nothing but it could be interesting to see where he views this game on Saturday.

Ishmael Sopsher -- LSU vs. Alabama

This is a battle that is going to go all the way to National Signing Day in February. There may be official visits to other schools taken, but this is going to come down to Alabama and LSU. This is a fight between Nick Saban and Ed Orgeron for one of the top defensive linemen in the country.

Sopsher’s last visit was to Alabama, a couple of weeks ago, and he will see the Crimson Tide play again this weekend when he takes in his first game this season at LSU. There is a strong case for each school. LSU is the home-state school and Sopsher said he and Orgeron have a special connection. Alabama has had some major success under Saban in Louisiana and he is very familiar with Tuscaloosa. This one will go all the way to the end.

Do you think the opposing team can host recruits?

Kind of just wish his name would go away and stop being brought up. Blueprint recruitment for Saban.

He is fool's gold for LSU. This kid is all Bama and has been that way for a while. He is smart and knows not to announce this until the last minute.

The LSU coaches privately may have reason to feel optimistic about his recruitment, but the outward signs and limited comments from the player are not indicative of a forthcoming commitment to the good guys.

I’m certain the staff is pursuing all available options and. It putting all of their eggs in he Sophsher basket.

I’m also certain that they know what’s up better than us. If Sophsher is all Bama on the slick, they know it. Hard to hide when we’ve been burned before.

I say just watch him close. If he's recruiting for Bama on our sideline, terminate the visit. We have that right.

By the way, we always do watch them close.

He can only be on the LSU sideline if he goes to the game, recruiting rules! Bama can't have recruits at away games.

Maybe he's just another Shelvin. I was so pumped about him and he's kinda been a let down. Also whats the deal with Amite kids not coming to LSU
