If
So in theory Tony Hull got on the phone and called six kids and convinced them all to commit to Kansas to give him an edge with the LSU job that just became open? Maybe Coach O should make him the Logistics Coordinator to work with his General Manager?

Excellent question! No way in hell they could use technology to communicate prior to reaching Kansas. Conspiracy theories debunked. :dropsmic:

And it all started when Chalmette had them 34-6 and they came back

So this is one of those rare cases where it is rocket science?

I agree we need to get our LA kids offered, or so much for that wall around the state.

Here's a article that explains how KU recruited 6 LA kids so far for 2018;
LINK
Here's short excerpt from the article;
Just over a year ago Kansas head coach David Beaty hired Tony Hull as his running backs coach. Most Kansas fans had never heard much about Hull. He was a high school coach who built Warren Easton High School in New Orleans into a state-title contender. Before that he was an engineer at NASA. He left his job at NASA to join the high school ranks taking a big pay-cut.
Before Saturday Hull had already lured five recruits from Louisiana. One of them is Mike Lee, a four-star recruit from Landry-Walker in New Orleans. This season as a true freshman Lee had 77 tackles and made several Freshmen All-American lists.
“He was a freshman All-American,” said Devonta Jason, who is the nation’s eight-rated receiver. “Watching him (Lee) make the plays he did as a freshman and getting the playing time he did stood out to me a lot.”
Then there is the family atmosphere all of the recruits talked about after their visits. Harris has known Hull for a long time going back to youth football.
“I have known coach Hull since he coached at Warren Easton,” Corione Harris said. “He knew me back when I was playing little league football. He is an awesome man. He has a great personality and always wants what is the best for the kids. That has always stuck out to me and he treats me like he is a father.”

Most of these kids are never going to see an LSU offer and certainly not because of commiting to friggin' Kansas.
Why is every damn kid from Louisiana who goes out of state supposed to be some kind of loss to LSU? In case some of you dumbasses don't know Louisiana produces around 80-90 FBS level kids per year. LSU might sign on average 15 kids from Louisiana in a class. So a lot of Louisiana kids go elsewhere to play FBS level ball to begin with. Most of these kids are ULL or LA Tech type players anyway. So who cares.
In addition, are some of you so stupid that you honestly think these kids will all stick with Kansas? If you do then you are very young or very new to recruiting. This is a ridiculous situation and may actually bring the wrong kind of attention on Kansas and Mr Hull.
Regarding the smartass comment that LSU needs to do their job in recruiting well as LSU just finished the year with the #7 class and Kansas finished somewhere below 50th and insignificant I don't think LSU will need any advice regarding recruiting or anything else about football from the joke that is Kansas. Have a great day.

Dude, KU is taking commitments from a 3 star DL with nothing but small offers a full year before signing day and you are bragging about it on an LSU board as if he was taken away from LSU. You need to be on board with ULL fans,Tulane fans, or Nichols State fans because those are the schools who you are recruiting against.
If LSU was offering a 3 star player this early there would be serious concerns.

Your a special kind of stupid if you believe there is anything a coach can simply say to make a kid interested in going to Kansas. Something very shady is going on but ultimately I predict 1 or zero of them end up in kansas

I'm not for lowering standards just to get Louisiana kids but when we don't fill a class it wouldn't hurt to get some La projects.

You don't pay terrorists.

Agree. Some of those "projects" can also maintain some relationships with local HS's.

When you are at the top like Bama you can pull 5* players from every state. LSU problem of late is we have been offering LA kids late and it seems as these kids or after thoughts. If you have a recruit board you should offer from your board and this will clear the perception up. Akers, Etienne,and CEH all would have been offered and you let them know we are only taking 2 RB. You start breeding competition from the college offer.

Yeah not sure why we haven't been doing this. And do like Clemson, once you commit you don't take any more visits.

frick Tony Hull is that plan enough. Like this bitch is going to force O's hand. Some of you millennials need to get a grip.

I'm a LSU fan....but this thinking is ridiculous. He has been in Louisiana schools as much LSU and he is being rewarded for making the relationship with the players. Out of state recruiters are planting seeds in players heads that they aren't a top priority to LSU.
Newsflash. They AREN'T. They shouldn't be. They are where they are on our and every other good team's board for legitimate reasons. I mean, at least Etienne spurned LSU to go play for the reigning National Champs. If they want to leave for Kansas to make a point that they should have been given priority, then enjoy losing in Lawrence fellas.

So CEH and TE commit early, but you still recruit Akers. He is a national recruit and can do whatever the hell he wants. He decides to commit. Who do you process? How the frick does that play in LA?
You can't win with this homer, "you owe me something" bullshite.
