2 more days of first recruiting season, except playoff teams.
Then a second recruiting season in April for about a week.
I would assume we are still looking.

2 more days to enter the portal for any player whose team has played its final game by December 23, 2024. Any player whose team will play a game after the 23rd of December will have 5 days from the completion of his team's season to enter the portal. (ie: LSU players will have until January 5th, 2025 to enter the portal if they choose, bacause of the final LSU game being played on December 31, 2024; a player on any team that plays today, December 26th will have until December 31st, 2024 to enter the portal, etc.). Excepting of course, the 30 day window for the players on any team that loses its Head Coach to enter the portal.

No we don’t . Unlike this site the staff likes the tackles we have cause we actually fricking recruit well. Yes they wanna add an experienced tackle if they can but we aren’t lacking talent. Safety is a significantly bigger need at this stage

They will take a plug and play OT of one comes available but they seem to be confident in the young talent they have coming up. Also will have spring window next year. Curious to see how they perform against Baylor. That will go a long ways to showing what they need to do moving forward.

Fa'amoe is no loss, not sure why he is getting rated where he is, 3 years of starting i guess but hes been average to below average every season.
More guys will ultimately hit the portal and I think we'll add just 1 more OLine. There will be better OLinemen to hit the portal over Fa'amoe ultimately I'd bet.
I know it's never an easy feeling losing both your good bookend OTs, but we have recruited exceptionally well there recently. We gotta be able to find guys to put out there we should feel comfortable with next season even without a transfer. This isnt to say we couldnt use a transfer, but man we got some really good talented OLine guys on the squad already. Some of them gotta be able to go next season.
Adams will be entering year 3 and has played just about everywhere on the OLine so far outside of C. Weston Davis was a massive land for us in the 2024 cycle at OT. Curne was a huge land this cycle (as was Thomas but projected more inside than outside for him). We got guys who can easily step into starting roles based on talent.

We have 4 great OL freshman on the roster currently who saw the field very minimally this season. One or 2 of them should be ready to step up as did Campbell and Jones did early in their careers. Then the 2 hot shot recruits who Kelly said were studs. We should be alright if Davis is as good as a coach as we all hope he is and get these guys ready to start next season

All Big 10 IOL. That is the area where pressure was put on Nussmeier once Dellinger went out and he struggled. It's very important that next year's OL doesn't allow interior pressure on Nuss. I'll take a proven, battle tested All conference lineman.

To me that second portal window is where desperate teams way overpay for mostly mediocre players. I’d avoid it if at all possible
