Highest bidder. He is wanting 3mil or more. Good luck big fella for one year, hell no.

Yea $100k per visit actually. No wonder Mr greedy uncle begged Seaton not to commit to LSU and keep taking visits. I wished LSU, Oregon, Miami and MSU all would catch on to this and tell them both to screw off and they can just go back to Colorado. Uncle needs to know his place.

I believe JD5 had to enroll late with accelerated classes.

I can’t tell if he’s just trying to make the best decision, or if he is just trying to get an incredible sum of meeting money, free flights, wining and dining, attention, rubbing elbows with a governor, and just play for the highest bidder
It's the second one.

Doesn't Seaton have to be enrolled in school by now to be eligible to play in the fall?
Not at LSU.
Not at Oregon.
Both have a March option.

Don't blame him at all. Anyone that has ever negotiated a salary understands.

quote:No. He could enroll next summer and play in the fall if he wanted to (just like high school recruits who dont enroll early). But, they'll make an exception for him and he'll enroll in Spring.
What I don't understand is the negotiation timeline. Doesn't Seaton have to be enrolled in school by now to be eligible to play in the fall?

Seaton would have been dumb not to shop around for the most money. It’s the college game today .

This is just so stupid. Of course he doesn’t dumbass. 99.999% of people in this country don’t. His only thought during this is how much will they pay me. It’s not about his grandkids and how he should structure trusts for them I can promise you. Same for the uncle. How much ima get??!! I’ll bet you tear up at Tom Rinaldi stories about moms working 3 jobs to put her kids through public school and the 19 year old player who has 4 year old twins. I’ll bet those stories really get to you.
