Is Ponchatoula/Destrehan streaming somewhere?

To watch Finley?
I see a thread on 247 but for some reason I keep getting errors every time I try to open something.

Yikes
Guess you can’t really blame the team around him with that line.

That's just pathetic. How does a D1 QB constantly look that bad? His teammates aren't a bunch of 10 year olds.

8 starters on offense are sophomores

That's not an excuse. Special players that have "it" seem to elevate the play of everyone around them. It's not like his district is full of D1 talent.

Would be disappointing if we ended up pairing 5 star RB, 5 star TE and 5 star receivers with a couple of dudes that people can't stop making excuses for.

I've only watched his first three passes and my goodness. Those 2 picks are terrible. First one he just sails the ball way over the receiver and hits the safety between the numbers. Second one he's locked onto his receiver the entire time and doesn't ever see the LB dropping into coverage. Can't put any blame on his teammates.

Yikes I can't watch anymore

I hate to say it, but I have to agree with Jai Eugene. I've never been impressed by Finley's numbers, but I wanted to believe there were other reasons for his less than stellar stats.
But, at some point, you have to show something that says you are a cut above the rest. He just seems to keep coming up small. I don't know what anyone sees in him, at this point. If he doesn't improve dramatically in a real hurry, I don't think he should be taking up someone else's spot just because he's a QB.

What is it about Johnson you don’t like? Other than he’s not DJU?
From what I’ve seen of his film; he’s pretty athletic, good balance, and throws a pretty good ball. He won’t start Day 1, but I think he could be solid given time and coaching.
I can see it with Finley. Not only is he not the most accurate QB, I think he outgrows the position in college and you’ve got Liggins part II.

Watched the entire game. Wow! Smh! Def not a warm and fuzzy feeling if I'm Coach O knowing that this is what I have coming into qb in 2020

Johnson shows a lot more upside than Finley. Our coaches think they can work with him to develop him into a player. I'm not sure they have the same optimism regarding TJ. He just doesn't give you anything to be excited about.

Finley threw interceptions on two of his first three passes, had to cover a bad snap and saw a wide receiver jump way offsides. Eventually he settled down to pass for 303 yards and two touchdowns, plus he ran for two. But he was sacked 10 times by the Destrehan defense.
“Every game we want to get sacks but we don’t set a goal,” said Tulane commitment Noah Taliancich, who had three of those sacks.
But the Wildcats defense was challenged by Ponchatoula, which scored five second-half touchdowns to stay within reach. Finley went from 64 yards passing to 303 and scored a pair of 1-yard touchdowns.
His favorite target was his brother Kody, who had 10 catches for 168 yards and one touchdown. Running back Braydon Johnson rushed for 70 yards and three touchdowns, including one with 53 seconds remaining to make it 48-34. But Destrehan recovered the onside kick, allowing it to run out the clock.

Completely different players but I'm not too high on him either.

He’s not nearly as mobile as LN. I think the staff was banking on Finley developing and he just hasn’t. He has a big frame and big arm but it’s going to take a miracle worker to turn this kid into an sec qb.
MB better be the dude for the next two years.
