Did you write all this in word and copy paste or use the site? Genuinely curious how you provided that much text.

Idk Les he was a true freshman thrown into fire in the SEC last year with no weapons and no OL

Vs UGA- 300 yards 3 TDs
Vs AtM - 240 yards 3 TDs
Vs OM - 280 yards 1 TD
Vs Mizzou - 200 yards 2 tds
Vs Arky - 300 yards 2 tds

He was better as a freshman than Nuss

I think he has a lot of potential in 2 years

They should be able to attract a high level transfer sunny

The egg bowl was the only close game out of those so the game flow was in his favor to pile up stats. Idk just feels like they would be settling

say more than half the fbs schools don't have next year's qb on their roster.

No you can't live with that . After the last 3 qbs we've had lately this board would melt into a pile of computer parts if we had someone play like etling did

Let’s hope you are correct. The portal/transfers has provide Burrow and JD5 but also some misses.
LSU is most likely trying to get one of the 2027 guys to reclassify to 26 Haven or the kid at Evangel.
As the top 26 kids are all pretty much spoken for a year or two in advance to build your class around.

Woody Hayes once said three things happen when you pass and two of them are bad . Run Johnson run wait until you see him in action stacking the box means nothing he will bust you wide open . He is more athletic and a better runner than Jayden if he can pass 60 percent of Jayden we are in the mix .

As they should.

LSU should never settle at qb.

I def don't want another Etling after having nightmares from the Bama game where he couldn't get it done (?2016?). We should have win that game but Etling sucked arse

No I have not written Hurley off. I hope he comes back, Hurley does have the pedigree of a top qb.

I guess I did not include him because the extent and nature of his injuries seem to be a big secret, and thats concerning. Last I read, Hurley was still in a rehab center, but for what, no one said. Thats a long time for a young man to be in a rehab hospital. He was unresponsive at the scene, I dont know if he is rehabbing for a brain injury or orthopedic injury or what. It’s just kind of hard to factor Hurley into the qb discussion when they have kept so secret the nature and extent of his injuries and given any time frame for his recovery.

Like everyone else on here, I imagine, I hope Hurley has a full recovery that allows him to return to practice at LSU.

QB has become a merc position. LSU will go after a junior or a grad transfer with at least two years left. The person will come in, play in the Spring, and be ready for Fall 2026.

Definitely not. We will need to get a reliable QB from the portal after 2025. One thing I will tell you Brian Kelly knows QB talent and knows how to develop QB talent. We have not had a problem at QB since he got here and he started with nothing at QB. Max Johnson had transferred soon after his arrival, Nuss was a red shirt freshman and Miles Brennan was lets say not at that point a SEC starter.

Two years later another QB wins a Heisman.

Also our best QBs have come from the portal, Burrow, Daniels, Mettenberger were all transfers. Hell even Danny Etling did OK and apparently is still playing football.
