You and Random can sit here and argue this all you want. You two arent making the decision. I am not making the decision.

The 18 year old and his family are making the decision.

Its really, really not that difficult.

they return I think 20/22 starters.

From a six win team. Listen, OM beats LSU every now and again and I do think it'll be a down year for the Tigers but OM will be coming off tough stretch in their schedule and no matter how good the class is this year, the Tigers will have a superior roster.

Selling him on the idea he could be the corner stone that helps turn ole miss back into a contender. He could be talked about and remembered as the missing piece to ole miss program getting ack to the top.

Also pretty sure Faulk was not the #1 ranked recruit in the nation.

Why did he choose Clemson in the first place?

Loston kind of went the same direction

committed to clemson, then decommitted, attended LSU.

Strange because SEC > ACC

When is the last time Ole Miss was in the SECCG? Ole MIss will not beat LSU next year and neither will Georgia.

Freeze isn't going anywhere of his own choice...ever. Ole Miss is his dream job, his destination. If he wins and Ole Miss wants to keep him, he'll still be there 20 years from now.

This bet you could count me in for $5,000...or any amount you choose.

So if Ole Miss doesnt play for an SEC title or NC title in 3 years, I win

This bet, you'd have to wait until the odds in Vegas were checked...would lay the bets accordingly with both.

Why make the 1st bet but qualify the second? Because on Jan 5, 2013 Ole Miss -- not 2 weeks ago -- became the BBVA COMPASS BOWL Champions, a title, and the first bet says, "any type of title." Ole Miss could win 3 titles of that type while RN is at Ole Miss.

The devil is in the details.

Two more points about that first bet:

quote:

Ole Miss will not play for any type of title in the 3 years RN is there. I'll lay you 200 to 1

1) It doesn't specify Ole Miss has to win any title, only play for one. So just being invited to any bowl game would satisfy the bet.

2) It can be argued when Ole Miss starts its first game, it will be "playing for" all titles. So the bet is won if they field a non-sanctioned team -- even if they don't win a single game. A safe bet.

They've never been a contender other than a singular year here or there.
