Sorry man, but I don't believe you. Every Bama "source" is saying he's a done deal there. Why do you think Rodney didn't commit when he got an LSU offer? IT WAS HIS ONLY OFFER, and he still didn't commit.

The rules were changed and FBS teams can only sign a MAX of 25 per year.

The max per class is 25. This has been in place for quite some time.
However, if you don't sign your max in one year, you can use those spots the next year by filling them with early enrollees.
Alabama signed 22 guys last year. As long as they have three early enrollees, soiler alert: they will, they can sign up to 28 players this year.
None of the "new rules" had any impact on this.
