Sorry, don't see the need.

Etienne and Edwards-Helaire have the same type of running style. You take the better of the two and move along. We already have Lindsay Scott to return punts. Etienne doesn't have a clear spot on defense. While obviously talented, I don't see a spot for Etienne.

on defense: safety, CB,
on offense: RB, WR, slot back/receiver

Etiene could be a change of pace back or an everydown type back just to talented not to offer.

I had not even heard of Etienne until recently. But when I saw his highlights I was shocked LSU hadn't offered yet.

The frick kind of drugs you on to think our third string QB is returning punts at any time in his career at LSU?

The kid has potential, I'm originally from Jennings and watched a few of his games this year. I'd like to think we offer him. My son told me he was offered or committed to A&M at one time and someone in the stands last week said something about Alabama being interested. The kid has a great story as well.

But Edward's Helaire can be a change of pace back and cam Akers could be an every down back. I understand your point just saying I think they already have one of the two and have their eyes set on a national stud.

He had 3,000 yards as a junior 50 tds and 12 yards per carry out of the split back veer with a far from dominant o line

Can Akers had 1,700 yards playin QB out the spread.

I don't see how in anyone's mind that Etienne isn't the best option. Unless of course you've never seen him play

Word from Jennings is that Coach O told JHS head coach that he has Travis and Akers ranked evenly and is getting frustrated with lack of response from Akers. Feel an offer is coming soon.

Until you see Etienne do what he does best in person you won't understand his talent. When he plants a foot you don't know where he will be a half second later. His speed and agility are extremely deceptive.
